Ultimate X-men 97.....shit's going downhill...

X-men legacy has been a consistently good read read for the last several issues. I am looking forward to the Emma|Xavier confrontation. I hope he kicks her ass.

501 was not so good, that artist can't do the x-men at all.

I wanted to take a baseball bat to cyclops' teeth...

I cant stand Cyclops on Legacy. It reminds me how much I hated the character. He acts like a d**k. As for Emma, as much as I like her, Xavier is kicking that @$$!

Cyclops has always been a dick.

So the mini series is about Iceman, and the rest of it running through the core X-books will be about other characters...awesomeness!

What exactly is the plot? If anyone knows?

Sorry about that, I've been lax...here's the Preview;

And here's the Cable #7 Preview:

http://comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=949&disp=table

And there's a Beast Origins preview:

And then there was that Layla Miller One-Shot that came out which I would discuss but I don't think many people here apart from X and I care about.

Well pr might since we see another Alternate reality Summers child in that one.

I still heart Fraction. The problem with the internet is that some poster have no patience.

The case of Ruby Summers, though...can be really interesting plot twist in Uncanny 504 with Emma suddenly appearing in Maddie's shoes so to say.
The parents of Ruby are easy to guess- Scott and Emma...and if Ruby's future 80 years from now, next year we'll see our blonde psychic beauty pregnant, I think...

God I hope not. I like Ruby but....pregnant Emma god no I don't want her to end up like Madelyne.

Am I reading the introduction page correctly? Psychic Blackout across the Globe due to the Skrull Thought Wall?

If that's the case then Charlotte I think you'll be getting that feat you wanted.

Mrrrr (purrs)...some asses are going to suffer here.

i wasn't particularly impressed by the layla miller one-shot, though i did think her continuous "knowing" of "stuff" was consistent with david's badassery. the part that made it fantastic, to me, was finally getting to know what the "summers rebellion" was. fans of bishop have heard about this turning point in mutant-human relations referenced several times, especially in the x.s.e. mini and the x-factor issues involving the time-displaced members of the x.u.e., but i don't think it had ever been explained. seeing that referenced, even after it had long since faded into obscurity as a non-factor, really made my day.

If they ever changed Emma's costume it should be to that, I don't care how impractical it is... 😛

How many future timeline kids can one man have? Scott Summers takes the bill.
