100% agree. Retarded kind of OOC that would never ever be added to RT. The only use of that story is that it's a possible hint to Emma being pregnant- hormonal disbalance causes women to act OOC sometimes (be it periods or pregnansy, not planning to get pregnant but in the former case (periods) I sometimes have moments of self-loathing out of nowhere).

Also, is it me or does Emma had 2 weeks without ANY RT-worthy appearance? OOC\PIC(periods influenced character) in Manifest Destiny, smacked by Wolverine for no reason in Original Sin, big pile of BS in Uncanny and "lots of "darling"\little action" in Astonishing? I wonder what's my dear darling colleague Exodus' opinion on that, but I feel like I was cheated.

Meh not sure about that the entire Original Sin story didn't make sense. Wolvey throws a hissy fit because they didn't tell him that Xavier was alive. Emma and Scott only just arrived back from their encounter with Xavier. Scotts about to blast him and then Emma tells Scott that they need him. Emma's also for some reason been a lot more discreet with the use of her powers. Asking people permission before reading their minds.
Everyone in AXM is a bit pretentious IMO, I still have high hopes for Ellis's run(Even though the words "Simply" and "Darling" are overused. UXM is...well I don't know just trying to hard to be cool.

Did you see the preview for SI: X-Men? I wonder how many Skrulls on Cerebra-machines there are. They create enough psychic static to block telepathy across the globe. I thought it was 3 but it looks like there could be much more.

The preview looks nice...really.

As for Astonishing, I'm far from dropping'em, since the nexy issue is going to have a delicious Emma\Storm interaction which I adore to read every time.

That Cyclops scene was one of the most embarresing, and out-of character scene I've seen in a long time. I still lol'ed though.

It's even more impressive then I thought. Her mind is completely severed from her body meaning that she's not boosted by Cerebra or the Cuckoos. Her body is shutting down because her mind is absent, the Cuckoos are keeping it alive by mentally regulating it.

She's facing off against 7 Super Skrulls all boosted by Cerebra like machines and all who have been trained to fight the X-Telepaths (The Thought Wall is at it's maximum). And to top it off she's weak.

She's called "weak" by the scrulls. The Scrulls' logic (explained in the fable told to Nightcrawler) dictates than many>one in any regard and many authomatically=strong and one=weak. "One" and "weak" are synonyms to Scrulls. Ems is going to prove'em wrong (let's take the discussion to CBR Ems appreciation thread, I finally logged in there).

Makes sense, still impressive though.

Really impressive, also confirms that physical KO\being paralysed\clynical death doesn't necessary mean "out of the game" for A-class telepath.

This is like the 3rd time this has happened to her IRRC. The first time she did on purpose, she placed herself in a psychic coma in order to survive the Sentinel attack, her body was shutting down though the X-Men took her and hooked her body up to a machine. When she was shattered she clung onto the astral plane until they mananged to put her body back together again, in Diamond Form she doesn't need to eat, drink or breath etc...so her bodies autonomic functions wouldn't have come into play there.

The Shadow King also did it, at the expense of his own body.

And that=proof that passive TP powers are still somehow accessible in diamond form (communication, astral projection etc).
Though that's turning into something we'd better discuss over PM or...do you have Yahoo Messenger or MSN?
