I like the fact that comics can do stuff like that, I cherish to be perplexed in a good way like this. Kudos to the creators.

yeah, i feel the same. i do feel bad in a way, as it was sad, but it was beautifully done...

Astonishing still wasn't great this month but it did get me excited for the next issue this time, which is a first this run.

Forge!!!

Seriously, I wonder what Forge is up to.

Ellis made it clear through both Scott and Ororo- Forge does the wrong thing for the right reasons. Was he trying to restore Earth's mutant population by establishing contact with remaining mutants throughout the Multiverse?

Beast does mention that Forge was looking into a multiversal solution to the "M-Day" problem.

if you haven't already, READ X-FACTOR #39. NOW.

when banshee died, and i was walking around a target in white plains, NY, i got to thinking about how i'd bring him back. peter david's story covered, almost point-for-point, what my idea was. and i saw it coming, given that i'd thought about it myself. but good god. this is the reason he's the writer, and i'm just the guy wandering around department stores.

read it now.

Looks like a lot of upcoming interaction between Cable and Wolverine... and with Wolverine mac'n on Domino, I can't imagine it will be all that friendly.

It's obviously beet juice . . .

Emma Frost slept with Namor, and he saved her life like twice?

Marvel's going off the hook with all those retcons.

Uncanny sucked. that is all.

Question:

I'm trying to get a consensus on Mister Sinister's physical strength and durability. i'm not talking about his ability to heal or anything, just trying to gauge how much force would actually be required to knock him down.

Now, i know he's manhandled Sabes and fought Colossus, but he has some off days too.

Any takers?

Anyone read New Mutants #1? I enjoyed it, tbh. A nice, solid x-book.

Pretty solid indeed. Las t time we saw the character in the last page, it was followed by one of the best sagas in X-men history. Hopefully his returning will bring something equally awesome.

you folks seen the "dark x-men" ads, apparently starting in uncanny x-men 513?

from what i can tell from the image shown, which leaves only a handful of dubious characters, the team appears to be;

Spoiler:
namor, mimic, dagger, exodus (or cloak with hair,) daken, an xavier which i believe is a red herring,
and two i can't identify. then again, i haven't been reading uncanny for quite some time. maybe i'm missing something.

Spoiler:
Weapon Omega is most likely Micheal Pointer

i was thinking that guy was a retarded version of captain britain. good call.
