All he did was go over his alotted mic time. I don't see how that warrants tasering him.

Although I would laugh if they did that at the Academy Awards.

Don't need to. It's clear that the moments before they tasered him he was doing nothing, just sitting there yelling and such. They could have just dragged him out easily.

And also, one of the cops seemed to be enjoying watching the kid get tasered.

no, but I have a few cop buddies. and EVERY TIME a cop uses his or her taser, they are questioned. and EVERY VIDEO of the incident, there is something missing, a crucial bit of the timeline where we dont what happened from point A to point B. tell me you see this in this vid, please tell me you see this.

I strongly suspect that the reason the kid got tasered was because his causing a scene (because he was mad about the mic getting cut) gave them barely enough of an excuse to let off some stress (and to exercise their egos) to shock him. They'll likely say on their report that he reached for one of their guns or something.
