Student gets arrested and tasered at John Kerry Forum

Started by InnerRise36 pages

Our Criminology Teacher spoke about this today in class.

He never really stated whether he agreed or not with the cop's actions.

He did say the guy was acting foolish and that cops are put in untentitable situations and that these specific cops deemed their actions necessary.

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Hmm Partly I think its the guys fault, He should have acted better and gone willingly witht he polic.

The cops over reacted tho, hte guy was already on the ground when they tas'd him.

The question is at the top of page 25. I reposted it to save Rob and any more grief in having to repost yet again, and you the grief of having to look. So there it is....Top- pg 25. I was interested to know your answer, but now even I'm giving up after being given the runaround for so long.

Its getting to be like someone thought they were gonna play matador, only to find themselves skewered on the horns of their own dragging out of the situation.

Its just a question, just grab the bull by the horns man, fergodsakes, before the audience die of old age. 😛
And no, disagreeing with someone's answer is not flaming.

got it. answered it already. remember the whle fiasco about whether or not his hands were actually cuffed, and how I stated if they were not cuffed, and he was resisting with all his strength, and if the cops tried to force his other hand around, that they could easily injure him permamently?

and where I stated that they tased him to cease his resistance so they could cuff him. therefore stating that the tasing was justified? that was my answer.

how the hell could he miss that? 😕

Yeah, it's both people's fault. But am I the only one who's more concerned about the questions asked?

You're being dishonest again, it wasn't "missed" and you know that... as pointed out by several people (besides myself) and on several occasions, his hands were pinned, he had 4 officers on him (one of which was 2-3 times his size) and he was pleading not making threats.

Those are the facts, that make your absolute statement of "it's either a taser or they break his arm", worthless and foolish. That's beside the point though, I said "you won" several pages back, Bill.

nah, you cannot see FOR SURE whether or not his hands are cuffed. what you CAN see is him waving his left arm about, fighting the officers as they TRIED to cuff him.

I dont want to start another battle here, I am just telling you that that is my answer as to why I think the tase was justifiable.

The teacher also mocked the student when he said "Don't taser me bro" and laughed at it.

funny

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

This reminds me of the time the Brazilian was shot eight times in the head for being a suspected terrorist, AFTER they detained him and held him down, then someone here tried to justify shooting him eight times.

that just might edge over into excessive. Just a tad.

Oi! you didn't do me!

Of course, because I don't like men..*bah dump ting*

Anyway...I put you between 110 and 120 because your smart ass comments can be fairly witty sometimes. However, this may not be accurate and it could actually be higher or lower.

What's my level? 🙂

You are not serious the vast majority of the time so I can't accurately guess. I would be safe in saying between 100 and 110.

You made the statement that he "got to me", the question you asked, was "why I let him" do it, implying that it happened as a fact, i.e. a statement.

Whatever you say boss, you are always right. <--(That is not sarcasm😐.)

Very odd how you focus on only my "flaming"... it was a give and take. It's fine though.

LAWLZ!!! 😆 you put flaming in quotes...teehee...

But seriously...do you need me to back you up, Robtard? Would you like be there for you, bro, next time you end up in a situation like that? I will if you need it. Seriously. 😐 I have no problem "helpin' my homies out".

It's a hobby of mine. But that was more of an assessment; it was also correct.

Seriously dude, I don't care. If this was my message board, I would allow "flaming" in certain situations...I would have a "flaming" thread in the OTF.

Where does that place me on your scale, as they all vary somewhat, what are the ratings? e.g. Average, above average etc.

I am using the SB-5 scoring system...sort of.

WTF? You'll states others, but you won't say yours... bad form. What is it, don't be like that?

Yes I'll "states" others, but I won't say mine. To my knowledge, the others have not taken the WISC-III, WAIS, or the SB5 tests so they cannot be accurately measured so it isn't a fair comparison to state my ACTUAL IQ. If you REALLY want to know that bad, you will have to fly to Tulsa, OK and get the test results from my mother.

Edit: Sure, but I would really appreciate it if you posted your quotient, also, you have a few other volunteers asking, don't want to be rude.

I know what you are doing there...already addressed it.

Wow, and here I was thinking it was set in stone.

People tend to be right, when the facts support their view, as in this particular case.

LAWLZI-CRAFT, I did!

Nice maneuver. You know I meant, why only point it out when I did it, and especially, why make it an issue if you "don't care".

Will you give me your mothers email address or telephone number? I don't mind asking.

BTW, if you're going to mock a typo, grammar or spelling error of mine by quoting it, use "sic".

same old stories. cop tells you to do something, you refuse, they try to be professional and tactful, you act a fool, they cuff you and taser you.

I love cops.

Cops are useless.

Keep the bashing to a minimum, guys. If this turns into a debate about right and wrong, fine, but if this turns into an "'RJ are idiot!' 'No, ur!'" then I will close it and hand out warnings...

Nevermind the fact that I was repeatedly called an "idiot", which another member has noted a few times as senseless bashing/flaming.

Oh well. That's good ol' KMC bias for ya.

Yeah, that's the way I see it too. I am not outraged by the use of the taser, it just seemed overreacted. And the cop that looked like he enjoyed it just didn't make the situation seem any more harmless.

What nonsense. You don't really believe that, right?
