A toxic persona is a vampire, how are they toxic, via energy, bad vibes.

An animated view of vampires could be extracting things important for LIFE (money/income, job, opportunity, etc.) (in the most animated views, they use blood as an example of life being extracted from a person, in the most basic sense, it could be reputation, that's important for life).

A figurative view could be the same as the animated one, but with a particular meaning without exaggerations.

When ppl call certain leaders "dragons" they aren't talking about real scaly creatures, they are talking about an image of someone that is so cold-blooded they can careless about anyone else, and yes, pictures help.
