And hey, the Charizard could've been a higher level (or just more proficient in battle due to having orders and discipline by a trainer) than that wild Mewtwo was, in addition to the mega form. I don't like that Mewtwo lost either, as he's my favorite Pokemon, but it doesn't seem as bad when you actually try to make sense of it.

Guess now that the Mewtwo is added to Red's arsenal, he may be able to make him change into his mega X form like he did with the Charizard. Will be great to see that Mewtwo kick some ass since only Mewtwo's butthead Y form was in that Genesect movie.

Hmm, I suppose training > raw power, but I still can't see how mewtwo lost. Heck, there's only a select few pokemon who are inherently stronger than mewtwo in the first place, those being black/white kyurem, and arceus. If you factor in mewtwo's mega form, only arceus. If Mewtwo can one-shot articuno, which in reality would be barely weaker, if not stronger, than a regular charizard, i don't think Mega charizard would match the disparity.

@Ridley; They really have. And on that, the fact that they know thwyve made Mewtwo into a fan fav should have been reason enough to give him a 'Drake's Dragonite vs 4/5 of Ash's Pokemon' defeat.

As for Charizard, I think it's a jerk move to give it 2 Megas and leave Blastoise and Venusaur in the dust. Sure it's the most popular, but turning Charizard into Wolverine doesn't strike me as a good idea. Fire/Dragon is pretty nice, though.

If Charizard turns into Wolverine I'm changing favourite starters. 🙁

All In wondering is how Pokemon Online will adapt to the new sprites.. yeah..

Seems to be the final number except for event pokemon sadly.
