ODIN IS Magic. Period. He even talks about his magical reserve when confronting thanos. And he talks about thanos own dark magic or what ever. obviously, Thanos has a high well of magic or resistance or something for Odin to make note of it in particular instead of just Thanos having cosmic powers. And If Odin weren't pulling his punch, Surfer wouldn't be alive. There wouldn't even be a body.
