Why isn't SQ canon?
Ok four reasons why.

1. Thanos was acting completely out of character. This is how he acted in his pregauntlet days.
2.Squirrel girl is ridiculous.
3.The fight was off panel.
4.It hasnt been mentioned in any other book.

Doesn't make it noncanon. It happened in reality 616. 😬.

I disagree. If there is a thread with Squirrel girl I count it but otherwise I think she is just a joke character.

Do you know what 'canon' even means, my friend? 😕.

I dont consider her in continuity. Again you may take her seriously but I feel she is a joke.

Being a joke character does not take one out of continuity.

I dont think she is meant to be taken seriously. The writers are having fun imo.

Quan, she is canon. OF course she is a joke, and I will be the first to say how big the bullshit surrounding it is, but canon nontheless.

Just like they do with Deadpool. Who is very much in continuity.

Until Thanos and his loss to Sg is mentioned in another book I say its not canon to his character.

You know I wont change my mind. Thanos was acting out of character. 🙂

Like when DS begs for mercy, but mr. miracle with the ALE says that DS would never yield to pain?
