I can't really make an educated call on Post Seven Soldiers DS because all the issue's I have involving DS are prior to that arc. As for "classic" DS, I'd probably give DS 6/10 over Thanos in a regular fight but give Thanos 7/10 in a primarily h2h confrontation. DS's loses to Supes DID bring his "average showing" significantly down IMO, but that average was set EXTREMELY high back in the Pre Crisis Days which is why I still see him taking the majority. If Thanos had gotten one or two more good showings under his belt after his upgrade to cement his new level of power I might give him the majority overall, but I prefer to go by what I've actually seen rather than speculate which is why I still see DS winning more often than not.

As for a match...I'll take it into consideration. I'm still looking up a lot of DS's old appearances and I'm no where near comfortable in my knowledge of him, but we might be able to sometime after I am.

It's not that I think the OE wouldn't work on Thanos, it's that I don't see it erasing him. I still give it credit for hurting like Hell and causing quite a bit of damage. And unless Thanos uses the Power Cosmic(which would be highly out of character for him) the OE provides DS with a level of versatility that Thanos just can't match. What's more, even though I prefer to go by what I've actually seen in comics, I've learned to look past what's actually been printed as well. DS HAS to lose otherwise all of DC's heroes die, it's just that simple. DS is pretty much ALWAYS the antagonist in the story, so the script DEMANDS that he go down. Thanos on the other hand, has been portrayed as an Anti Hero as much as he has a villain, which is why he lacks the low end feats that DS has tacked to his record.
