wolverine has already won. and wolverine ahs dodged faster people then namor. wolverine needs one good slash and namor done but namor needs to beat wolverine out. wolverine sue to fist fight I guy who was consider only a little under hulk in strength all the time.
Well all I know is that numbers don't lie. And right now Namor's winning the poll 769 to 0. And that is in no way tampered with. Huh-uh...no-sir-ee!

...seriously though, DC's much better than I am at providing a convincing argument. Browse through the thread, or go to his Namor respect thread to see what he's capable of, then get back to me. Even the Wolverine supporters are only giving him about 1 or 2 out of 10.

it GALLS me to no end to admit that wolvie could win this. i might have said no chance, but i've seen cap give namor a TERRIFIC fight (seriously, a really great, no pis/cis fight). cap just used great skill, determination and smarts. if cap can do it (this was on land, of course) then i can't logically say wolvie couldn't do it. iron fist ALSO gave namor a run for his money. and i had this discussion recently with someone else -- all cracks about wolverine aside (and i cannot STAND the character -- i think marvel UTTERLY AND COMPLETELY overrates him) if he is shown continually competing against guys at namor's level, then as much as i/we hate it, we need to start wondering just which of his showings are pis/cis. what is most consistently shown? he's consistently shown holding his own v hulk. v wendigo. he beat abomination, ultimately beat/thwarted/held his won against tiger shark. and loads of others.

Always thought of Cap, Iron Fist, etc. as much more skilled than Logan though. They talk a lot about his skill, but I've never seen anything besides random berserking rages that true skill would own in a fight. You should be glad, though, that you can argue for a guy you hate...shows that maybe you're less biased than most of us (though we're all biased more than we'd care to admit).
P.S. The tally was something like 46-17 in Namor's favor when I changed it, if anyone really wants to know. Don't want anyone thinking I'm denying them the priceless knowledge that polls give us.

what ur doing is clear abuse of ur power. if wolverine was not so hated on the forums u be getting yelled at left and right. I know u think it funny but it is just disrespectful to the mebers that took the time to vote for the other guy and u just earase it and add far far more to the other.

...not to mention it was only a joke. 🙂 If it happened with any regularity, then I'd agree with you and feel bad, but when something's just done in jest every now and then you shouldn't worry about it so much. Besides, polls are hardly final, as anyone will tell you. A fun gauge of opinions, sure, but hardly 'canon.' I highly doubt anyone is miffed by it.
Besides, you're guy is the most popular guy in comics right now, and thus has the most comics...you have the last laugh, regardless of anything said on these forums. Cheer up 😉

heheh. i've a LARGE collection of wolverine (collected more for the hoped for value, back when i collected almost every marvel title) and i've seen him display loads of skill. but he often doesn't display it. a pity. if he were more skilled based rather than 'i can heal anything, can't be hurt and have unbreakable bones' i might have liked him better.
meh, out of 10 i'd still vote namor, but i could see wolvie taking a couple or 3, and i don't think ANY of the fights would be easy.
incidentally, namor DID beat cap, but it was a great fight. if i can find it i'll post scans.

actauly it does not bother me at all. I clearly just stating what it is. I dont even think i voted lol. actaully spidermans the most popular then wolverinr but I get what u mean. on the forum wolverines easiliy the most hated and has least suporters.

There. All better now. I put it back to what it was before...I think I made my point and got some smiles, but then calling me out on it and psycho-analyzing it made it lose some of its humor value. Namor's still winning by plenty, legitimately, so my 769 isn't really needed.
...still, after babysitting spammers and closing/moving threads all the time, it feels good to actually remember you can do stuff like that...even if it isn't technically right. LOL.
