Namor, The Sub-Mariner vs Wolverine

i'm still confused -- when you read the thing v wolverine thread, it is ackowledged by pretty well everyone that the fight can go either way. now skill and durability wise thing and namor are pretty close imo. speed to namor and a slight strength advantage as well, but namor and ben fights have been classics and are usually pretty damn close.

so . . .

if you can accept wolverine beating ben, why would it be such a stretch for him to beat namor? is it the speed advantage that is the biggest difference? or do most on this thread think (despite several showings) that wolvie shouldn't be able to beat ben?

Totally agreed .... I would rather face Namor than the Hulk ! 🙂

Speed advantage...plus Namor is way better fighter and way smarter then Ben is...

And I don't consider the strength advantage slight. Never seen a strength feat from thing that goes even above 1000 tons...😬

Since the fact is that Namor is stronger, smarter, faster and more experienced then Thing, plus better fighter...

As he is smarter, faster, more experienced and better fighter then Hulk...

It's pointless to compare Thing VS Wolverine and Hulk VS Wolverine fights as an example of how Namor (Namor how he would fight normally) would fight...

Speed advantage...plus Namor is way better fighter and way smarter then Ben is...

Namor's speed is superior to Ben by clear numbers and though Namor is a better combatant of these two, I wouldn't say Namor is actually far better in fighting. Sure, there's a clear difference, but it's nothing like the difference between, say, Wolverine and Hawkeye. The example has nothing to do with the thread, but just thought to point out that the difference isn't that appalling.

Namor's top speed is Mach 5, isnt' it?

Depends how you classify fighting...

I think he is better fighter. His feats and training outclass Ben's...

Flying speed is unstated. It's at least Mach 1.

Movement(Hand/Leg/body) and reaction speed is way above mach 5, but I don't think you can classify them with Mach speeds...

So I was right in that other thread!!

Bump

im going namor on this one

This statement is rather problematic cause Wolverine's fighting skills,
experience, claws/bones, and healing would pose a danger to most
heroes or villians. Even ones far more powerful.
The problem is the way he's written. He SHOULD be using his
awesome skills and smarts to dodge and slash people to bits.
However, these days he just takes punches like he's
the Hulk and heals like a GOD. That's nonsense.

Personnally I think Namor would take Wolverine down hard,
but he'd definitely be checking in to the Our Lady of Posiedon
Hospital on the lower east side of Atlantis for some serious stitches.

HAHAHA 😆 . I co-sign to this whole heartingly . 👆

Namor owns Wolverine more times than I can count 😐

Man.. 82 pages.. you fanboys never stop. Wolverine Fanboys vs Namor Fanboys.. Round 82.. *sigh*. To be honest. Everything points that Namor would win, but Wolverine's (Pis) feats say he could match him.

can't Namor just Wonderman him?

Does Namor even have any fanboys? 😕

Other than Darkcrawler I mean 😛

could namor just use the power of an electric eel to hit wolvy with so much electricy that all there is left is the adamantium? now i know logan's not just going to stand while he's donig it, but with namors speed and flight it might work. anyway i can't wait until wolverine #45 on august 23rd for their second fight. of course it won't have a clear winner but it will still be fun to read

Bump 😈
