Funny you should mention this. Let's look at the plant kingdom and their behavior with their hosts and their hosts behavior with other potential hosts, let's see if they have some sort of conciousness/awareness, and subsequent defense.

Anyway, these Aphids usually secrete a wax like substance that is part of the alarm phernone, it alerts undistrubed individuals and kills the wasps.
Aphis nerii, the oleander aphid, feeds on a diversity of pants, not only the oleander. But this species extracts a steriod when mixing its own chemical with the palnt, it's not a phernome, it's a steriod, a toxic one, called cardiac glycosides or cardenolides, all of this is to provide defense, so this species mfg steriods for protection, protection from what? Protection against parasitic Hymenoptera, wasps, etc. (page 118).
Even if we do not eat meat b/c we don't want to kill them b/c of their sense of awareness, we also have to treat the insects and punish them for how they treat plants, right? Plants have their own sense of defense against fellow or neighboring plants of the same species or opposite, to defend against fungus or parasites.
I have a spiritual argument to make, and I will post it seperately.

Strange example, I always have at least one
Let me tell you a strange example. I use to walk in a wooded area that had a lot of farm animals, mostly cattle. Well, one day, I felt something from them and decided to test this stuff to see if it works. So, I thought something and directed the thought toward the cattle. Well, at first, it was greeted with hostility, and I wondered why and that's when I noticed the female cows, and from what I think I was "told" was that the male cow was putting on an act of bravado b/c he wants sex later on. I stood there for about 4 minutes to test this, and I saw how the male cow was getting upset and wanting me to leave, but I wasn't a threat and I focused that thought there. I saw how the females were wagging their tails and I understood, it's a show off game by the male. Not sure if the telepathy was working or it was just my own reason that lead to that conclusion, of course, I would love to think it was possible in a positive way (Christians, we really aren't suppose to talk to animals, not to telepathically link to them at all, so that wasn't a good thing to practice, even if it couldn't happen).
While I was walking away, I decided to do another experiment and I sent out good vibrations or thoughts about the animal, and about any animal and decided to see what I would find. They liked it.

What I realized is that life loves positive vibrations, and the more positive, the more it thrives.
What happens when you worship a life form
When you worship someone or something, you give it energy by thinking about it, the more you think of it, the more powerful it becomes b/c it's gaining your energy/thoughts remotely. So, we tend to like being worshipped, if not, at least loved. The overall energy feels good and it feels like gain, like we are gaining something when we are loved. Animals feel it as well, and so do plants. There was a news story of a woman who cared for a baby crain, and it showed that she gave the crain a lot of love, well, the crain is grown up and now, she has trouble leaving b/c the crain will follow her car. Everything loves to be worshipped or loved or adored. It's cruel of her to give it that much love and now, she wants to send it back to the wild b/c it's annoying to her.
worship a life form=it's own energy=own star system= DEMAND your worship
When you worship life, it gains energy and seeks to want more of it. What ends up happening in the occult sense is that it ends up being caste UP to the sky, like a star, generating it's own life.
Animals know this, some ppl know this, plants know this. So, you can end up taking an entity inside of a species, love it or worship it, and guess what it'll do when enough minds focus that way? It becomes an idol, it's own separate energy-entity that would demand your worship or else. India knows this very well and as democratic as it is with the Hindu gods, there are more then 100 of them, b/c every living being wants to live forever, and it will let you worship it, if you fall into it.
Human mind and positive energy
You can think of a positive mind as a positive feedback loop or positive operational amplifier (the input is small, like 5, and the output is much more, even double the input, that's a basic amplifying system), if you think of a positive person having an positive feedback loop, whatever positive energy is input, they output even more, like a generator.
If you take away from that kind of system, it can't feed itself, nor can it give extra.

Though they don't want to draw conclusions...on one episode, the Mythbusters tested the theory of talking to your plants and playing music for them. The evidence pointed to "Heavy Metal/Death Metal" music creating the most growth in pea plants. They grew almost twice as large and had much larger pods.
The test should be performed again and again... but from what my theory is...it is the vibrations that caused the plant to grow more(A microscopic function)...not that the plant was growing because the music interacted with its soul or anything.
I think more tests should be done on that theory and with multiple plants because all plants are not identical on the cellular level and they may react differently to different music...aka, different types of vibrations.

I wasn't saying that the plant's soul loved classical music. I was suggesting that the positive energy from the music was allowing the plants to feed off of it, that awareness is what makes the plants want to live and grow. Rock or metal has positive elements to it, it's just a matter of extracting the positive, which on a basic level isn't hard to do b/c of photosynthesis, the plants are use to extracting energy from the sun, which is light energy, sound energy shouldn't be that much different, it doesn't need eyes to see the light, so it doesn't need ears to hear, it just needs to decode.
