Street Fighter IV

It's lag. You don't really have it. Happened to me but I couldnt even Ex afterwards.

I'm pretty new to Street Fighter, but I'm having alot of fun with IV. Back in the days of SFII I was decent, but now I'm getting really into it.

I want to really hone my skills before I take on some of you blokes online though.

What character you want to play with? BTW if you want to practice combos, moves and inputs just do so in training. The AI is crap and will only give you bad habits.

Its pretty hilarious how HD remix pretty much eliminated lag from matches (except those with exceptionally bad ping)

yet most of the random matches you'll have in SFIV are about as bad as Smash Bros. Brawl

Just kidding. I am getting the hang of Fei Long. And I've been doing those trial things. I just read earlier that he has an infinite combo? I hate things like that man. Same thing with move spamming. I want a fair fight.

It was the first game I got for my PS3 like a month ago, and god DAMN it's hard though! Effing ballsacks. But I consider myself a fan of fighting games, so I'm going to try to get pretty formidable.

Ah man really? The lag in brawl is SO bad. Is SF the same really?

pretty much.. and when you DO get a good match.. theres a 40% chance that they're a crybaby DC'er

you actually can get someone equal to or better than you.. but that seems fairly slim pickings

It's not that bad, geez. I have execution issues online but with a good connect, it runs damn near perfect.

yeah like I said.. you 'can' get a good connection match.. but then you have to worry if

-they're going to DC on you at the last minute cuz they suck

-are they just a completely horrible player, or are they actually gonna give you a good fight

we already know that the BP system means crap, since there are obvious boosters

When I was on Live I only had 1 lag problem out of my 24 fights.

I don't lag that much.

Sounds like you never lose cause you are so awesome. That's a personal problem.

Some kids worry about the numbers under their GT/PSID too much.

I had an online match last night against a Cammy, and they had me the first round, and then we got disconnected.

The match itself didn't lag, but it took forever to actually connect to another player. THAT was pretty lame.

It's just irritating that the BP system is meant to keep players within their own ranges of skill.. and it fails miserably to do so

your best bet for good matches is just befriend people and invite them to some private gaming sessions

Pretty much.

Sad thing is DCers would easily be dealt with if they were punished with a lose of BPs if they quit.

You guys really make me wanna get Live again. Maybe someday. I've been playin' RE5 and just got Vader in SCIV so I'm probably rusty.

being rusty shouldnt stop you from hoppin on live.. hell.. I'll fight anyone even if they're better than me
