Yeah, I do see what you're saying. Actually, I think that they
should keep SC going. I hate it that it's a miniseries. Those
characters could have ALOT done with them.
But I do see what you're saying. A Daxamite with a GL ring is
a nightmare to almost anyone fighting him, lol.

It wasn't all that big a deal. Lanterns have survived worse by virtue of their rings alone.
Unless the implication was supposed to be that he did it on pure durability, in which case, it's still no big deal for someone that's supposed to be a kryptonian cousin.
And I never said I wanted to see feats alone - I'm hoping he gets a good bit of character development, fleshing out, in GLC.

As long as they are uninfected by fear, the autoshields will do the rest. Even for rookies. So if it was based on his ring, again, no biggie.
And, like I said, I've started exaggerating a bit for effect, but I certainly think a lot could be done with his character.

Meh - there will still be an 'effective' fear weakness, though. Not specifically yellow, but if you're afraid, you're not too confident, your will power fails, you get killed.

Because who wouldn't be afraid when they're going on what very well could have turned out to be a suicide mission? They were afraid that Yat would be afraid, therefore, his autoshields wouldn't kick in.
