Not at all... he's tough because of his healing factor and his strength... so he totally susceptable to being drained.

The ways that their invulnerability work are totally different.

doomsday pummelled superman to the point his aura, was gone. i doubt very highly superman can withstand a full powered cosmic blast

You mean things a Like the Omega effect, and the Scouring light of heaven from Asmodel? All the magic that has been tried on him that didn't work? Dominus blasts? Living in the Sun?

You would need Galactus levels to pull the blast you are talking about.

I must admitt I am not totaly convinced that Surfer can defeat Superman. All I read is a bunch of kids saying sh!t that Surfer cannot even do. But the only chance Surfer has is the potential to drain Supermans solar energy. Without that he does not win this fight cause that would be his only chance.

If you are referring to post-crisis Superman (the only one you should be referring to,) you are wrong. Even if Superman could fly at 99% of light speed, Silver Surfer travels far faster than lightspeed.

I didn't say anything, actully if you read my first post in this thread, I said SS can also fly at speedlight or beyond. The fight woudln't be decided by speed, but by pwoer, SS has more, but it wouldn't be so easy as some people migh think.

...Or Surfer could blast him to death with the power cosmic, which is only about 1,000,000,000 times more powerful than Doomsday's punches. There are so many ways for Surfer to win it isn't even funny. What will Superman do, punch him?

An "aura" is energy. Superman's aura is powered by what? I think that's solar energy. Solar energy that will get sucked out of him in seconds. There is absolutely no logical reason why SS would not be able to absorb the aura, and his sloar energy.

Superman has also proven to be vulnerable to radiation. SS can just scan Superman, adjust his power cosmic blast to Kryptonite radiation, and blast away.

Superstrength
Superspeed running/reflexes (about 10% of light, max)
Superspeed flight (about 50% of light, max)
Heat Vision
Super Breath
Invulnerability

Here are Surfer's abilities

Superspeed thought/reflexes/agility (several times the speed of light)
Superspeed flight (on surfboard, several times the speed of light.)
Superstrength
Cosmic Awareness
Power cosmic blasts (well capable of destroying planet-sized objects.)
Matter Manipulation/Transmutation (on a subatomic level)
Energy Manipulation, Vision, Emmission, Absorption, Transmutation.
High-level Telepathy (once controlled the entire populance of a planet.)
Dimensional Rifts (he trapped Genis-Vell in his surfboard.)
Time Travel
Subatomic Vision (he has seen Thanos from lightyears away.)
Phasing Intangibility

Superman is being way overrated here. There are just too many ways for Surfer to defeat Superman. He is way too powerful for Superman to stand up against. Superman won't last two seconds.

I think Wynndar means, If Superman can be killed by Doomsday's punches, imagine what a blast that can destroy planets will do?

but he can take any member to school.

No one said that SS could beat the combined power of everyone in the JLA. However, Surfer would not have too big of a problem defeating Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Martian Manhunter. I read JLA comics, and I am very aware of their powers. No one in the JLA short of Spectre can stand toe to toe with the Silver Surfer.
