How? I have to give you the complete history of a battle. Superman could beat surfer because he is stronger, durable, and almost as fast as surfer is. Lantern is as powerful as surfer is, his ring power could do all the things that surfer can do with his cosmic power, except speed maybe. Add to them the strenght and fight experience of wonder woman, the speep of the flash, the variety of powers of martian manhunter and the intelligente of batman and is too much for surfer.

Superman isn't nearly as fast as Surfer by any means. Surfer never gets in fistfights, strength isn't a factor. Superman relies on Solar energy. SS can take it. SS can blast him with Kryptonite radiation. SS can blast him into atoms with the power cosmic.
GL's ring can't transmute matter or energy, phase through solid matter, travel through time, or project a blast that will destroy a planet. GL's ring's power is limited by his human willpower. The power cosmic has no limitation. Don't forget that Surfer moves faster than GL can think.
Surfer is immune to telepathy. He is a much better telepath then MM.
Without speed, Flash is just a regular guy. Nothing he can do to SS.
Batman's intelligence is of no consequence, he won't last long enough.
Wonder Woman is a fist fighter. Silver Surfer will blast her unconscious.
Well before Surfer has a chance absorbing Supes solar energy he would be knocked out besides there's no proof he could anyway. Once again no proof he could create krytonite radiation.
Surfer is NOT immune to TP he just has pretty good resistance.
I really think you are overrating SS a little bit sure he's powerful and all but no way he could defeat all of them together, Supes alone might knocked him out!
here is no evidence Superman is fasrter than the surfer...Surfer is not a humanoid being...he's a herald...he doesnt have physiology in the same sense that Superman does. Surfer's thoughts, relfexes, responses, etc, travel at light speed. Superman doesnt have the "speed" advantage that he would have against most of his conventional enemies (who still manage to kick his ass without super speed). Furthermore, show me when Surfer was knocked unconscious by someone at Supe's power level...cuz Ive never seen it.

no....there is tons evidence Surfer would beat Supes....its all over this thread...and what JPlatinum said was totally irrelavant because Supes would talk just as much as Surfer...he follows some code of honor and doesnt just hit pepole in the mouth. Regardless, Supes lacks the sheer power to KO the Surfer. Surfer didnt go down after one hit from Odin, he went down from two...that translates to Surfer could probably take several hundred hits from Superman, if I were to comapare Superman's strength to Odin's.
Ok Surfer tries talking first, so does superman. superman tries to sucker punch surfer, but the whole time he was getting ready to, surfer's board was flying at lightspeed behind supes. before supes can lay his hands on surfer, the board comes from behind and decapitates supes. There, Surfer beat superman.

Well Superman eats Omega Beams and when Surfer was hit with them his mettalic skin flaked off him and he fell to the ground. That tells me that Superman is way more durable than Surfer and could no doubt withstand the Cosmic blasts. As far as Superman being faster than Surfer well he is. The only thing that makes Surfer fast is his surfboard his speed advantage is only in flight. Footspeed is not even close Superman outclasses him no problem. Superman could KO Surfer no problem wynndar.

no...like i said, Surfer's physiology allows him greater speed than superman...and dont bring up the cross over, it has little validity. Superman isnt durable, once his aura runs out of power he isnt shit...thats like saying Magneto is more Durable than Colossus.
The actual composition of Surfer's body is durable...Superman has the same composition as a regular man...thats why he weighs 230lbs...surfer's weight is unknown. However, just to illustrate how much more dense a herald is than a humanoid, terrax is 6'5" 2,750 lbs, over ten times the density of superman. Again, Superman is protected by an aura, but the composition of his body is actually relatively fragile compared to a guy like surfer. So Superman is durable in the same way as Magneto or Invisible Woman, simply because of an auro or energy field.
