Supes gets tagged all the time, and I seem to remember him being unable to catch a fleeing Deathstroke before. Everybody has low showings, that's not what we base the character off of. What's the fastest Supes has ever operated at in combat?

Now I agree with this statement, h2h wise I think superman does punch faster since surfer doesnt have the feats to back it up. I was just comment on your previous post. But surfer does have enough reaction time and speed to cover the distance and get the first lick off of superman.

So the instances you're talking about are actually high end feats rather than consistant showings right?

Now I know there's at least one scan of Supes doing the same, but I can almost guarantee you won't find a scan of current Supes blitzing at faster than light speeds. The fact that Surfer isn't likely to punch Supes a thousand times a second doesn't mean he can't raise a force field to interrupt. Supes has to cover the .5 kilometer distance to start landing punches but Surfer can blast away from his starting position with red sun radiation or k-nite, or charge up his surfboard with one of those energy types and bullrush at top speed, or attack the solar energy in his system, or BFR him, or encase him in solidified energy(weakness types if necessary)... Need I go on?

those r all possible but the mosf effective one being k-nite bolts. Liks i said 7/10 with surfer as long as norin keeps the fight at a distance. If he attempts a brawl or h2h close quarter fight he loses considerably.
