...No. Just no. Surfer has reverted the Hulk into Banner by draining his gamma radiation and shut off the X-gene to render mutants powerless. Not only has he exploited weaknesses (these examples, beating Uni-Lord, etc.), he's done so to opponents without hurting them. He can bombard Superman with red solar radiation and still create a oxygen cube to keep him alive.
You do realize he's fights like a brick because he doesn't want to kill people? He destroyed a planetoid just to scare off Ravenous.
In either case, Surfer can destroy in a myriad number of ways. Astral Plane, tying him to the biosphere of a planet, black hold generation, etc.

Silver surfer is the most versatile herald of them all and there are few superpowers he doesn't have. Almost all his powers have very efficient battle aplications and he frequenbtly uses a vast array of them, including the more exotic ones. He has used weakness exploitation, astral combat, matter transmutation and extremelly elaborate forms of biological manipulation, incarceration and BFR during his fights.
He is at least on par with SM in terms of reaction times and thought process speed. His durabilty is better and his energy output and speed are ridiculously higher.

So? SS has tanked multiple blows from the Hulk, the Thing and other Marvel bricks. Melee combat has almost never been shown to hurt him (Thanos excepted).

hehe He's tanked far worse damage from aegis, tenebras and galactus and survived, even if badly hurt, to keep fighting. Doomsday killed SM. SS's tanked the hulk as well not to mention stars exploding, planetshattering attacks and other crap like that all the time.
Does anyone know how surfer is going to beat superman if he uses t-vo. Please I keep on wondering how there is such a logic error here years after it proves to be an incredible and useful proven plot device that is also one of supermans powers such as hv or freeze breath. Add in Superman is a Demi god basically linked to Rao and you start to see he is not just the last kryptonian. All of supermans weaknesses other than magic superman (superman even resists to some degree) has fought off with his will power. Which is probably on the level of something lucifer would notice. Surfer cannot beat t-vo it's that simple and superman is going to use it.
