You want Superman being beaten by kryptonite? Not killed (obviously, he's the freaking hero) but beaten? I give you Batman. A guy like Batman, with human stats and one tactical advantage can beat Superman. Surfer, with vastly superhuman stats and several exploitable Super-weaknesses should... Obviously lose, because Superman becomes greater than both Flash Prime and God when angry. And the forum rules clearly state that he's allowed to get angry...
Seriously, this argument went to "can Surfer beat Superman without his radiation powers" about 20 pages ago, and has now been brought back to both at full power because Superman just magically gained immunity to freaking kryptonite. HONESTLY!
To the "Surfer doesn't use his speed in fights" argument, A: Flying beyond lightspeed in a circle and still having the ability to raise your arms and fire a blast into the circle with accuracy shows a fair amount of control at that speed. That fight should not be dismissed so lightly.
And finally to "Galactus doesn't fly at lightspeed and blast people, so Surfer can't". I've never seen LT push planets, is Superman gonna beat him in a fist fight?

I was reffering more to surfer supposedly Absorbing stars... when Galactus needs a machine just to absorb a planet.

SS absorbs energy (Stars emit energy) he doesn't need to convert.
