Seriously, WTF is going on with Superman? They depower him to where he's -almost- relatable and nearly a decent read JUST to bring his happy ass back to the unreadable perfect hero who says "This is a job for Superman.".

There are so many pages here, it would take all night to read everything. But from what I am glimpsing, most ppl seem to think Surfer's route to victory lies in his absorbing Supes solar energy reserves.

Perhaps these show up later, but what about the Surfer...
1. Firing kryptonite radiation at Supes, or even easier...
2. Just radiate red-sun radiation. End of story.

if you are a comic fan who listens to logic then you would know that there are so many ways silver surfer can take out superman.superman only has one real edge on the surfer and thats phsical strength and that wont help when you getting blasted with the power cosmic at multiples of light speed

Energy Superman can absorb energy yes, he couldn't sustain the power of cosmic. Silver Surfer will overload superman and blow him up, my god the ignorance. Buddy SS once absorbed energies to destroy the universe , has absorbed stars.

as for the board , ya drax is really slow and he sure was fighting , his board is part of him , so it doesn't really matter he can always remake it / call it back ( unless it's trap beyond his powers)

people seem to forget SS has enough energy to boil Superman no need for tricks

I read identity crisis the other day and thought it was pretty good....but it took me about 5 minutes to figure out that the last panel where he said "Whis looks like a job for Superman!" was part of the comic...it was pretty goofy and ruined the mood for me. Is that the point? r they trying to bring him back to that kind of character?

Surfer couldnt contain a portion of Bio energy, but Quasar in his human body could.
