? wft? A wiki article about fear. Stop twisting things. I said you can find your answers in the wiki article but my personal answer to your question which was:1. if it's "gotten" that way and "most" Whites are racist, how/why did it get that way in the first place?
And my personal answer was "Fear, solely" let me specify.
Fear, solely, is why it's "gotten" that way. That's my personal answer. Do you understand now? And i don't think most Whites are racist. I have said that I'll never know that as no one will, and that's what makes you, among other things, call me a racist.
A racist is a racist is a racist. The majority of racist people i've met were White. You seem to have a problem with that. I've met black racist but in the quantity of White racist. I have problems with black racists too. My beef's with the idea. Not someone skin color, you kidding me?
My bad, I thought you said the Wiki article was about fear, why mention it then? If you have your own reasoning and it being "fear", which isn't in the Wiki article.
Yes, you've said "most whites are racist" before, back-peddling again, you are.
Point still stands, the whites had nothing to "fear" from the slaves, that is a fact. So?
Yes, I know a racist is a racist... point still stands, if most whites are racist because most whites you've met have been racist. Then, if most blacks you've met feel your same sentiments as you, then most blacks are racist, by your rational. That is unless you apply a double-standard, which is seems you are.

FOTN, how do you act around and talk to your White professors?
How do i act? Normally. Being whom you are regularly and with all people garners more respect than acting differently than who you are cause if you get caught fronting one way and switch in another scenario, your fcuked. And won't be taken serious. People should always be themselves. I'd talk to a homeless person in the same way I'd talk to W. Bush. Just normally. Why pretend to be liked?
I dunno, but being unauthentic would physically bother me. Like, i dunno how people do it, like when i see a Spanish or black dude act mad white or a white dude act black when they really act different around their friends and family just cause they wanna be accepted is lame and fcuked up. Act how you wanna act just as long as it's you or you at least keep it consistent if you can't help it, you know.
But other than that, that type of attitude is just straight fake. Period.

Well sometimes you have to act. In the past, I would act/talk White in job interviews with White employers, in fact I have it down to a fine art. A White guy with a college degree likely doesn't understand barrio talk, and if he did he probably wouldn't think very highly of it, so I would have to fake talking like a middle class White boy.

You sure do talk a lot of shit about "being real"... do you spout your anti-White rhetoric around white people you know or don't know, in person? Do you look down on homosexuals, like you do in here in person? Do you?

No, because I have never seen him spew the racist, paranoid and irrational garbage you spew, it has nothing to do with the color of his skin. "Safe Black", is that like an "Uncle Tom"?Do you honesty think that all blacks feel the way you do towards whites and they're either "real" like you claim to be or just playing a "safe black"? Do you ever listen to the crap you say?
No, as you probably already know, a safe black is basically a personable or "nice" black person that, when around other Whites, makes them feel comfortable, since the sterotype is that White people think Blacks are savages.
No, I do not think "ALL" blacks feel that way towards whites. When did i eve say that, as you're slyly insinuating.

And there is your type which is bent on proving that blacks indeed are.

I like how you constantly defend yourself against the accusation that you put words in the mouths of all black people, by putting words in the mouths of all white people.

No.! You don't bro. You don't have to act differently. Being yourself will get further than you think, believe me. Be yourself at all times.
Chicks dig it. Co-workers respect it. Higher ups admire and the downtrodden and unfortunate appreciate it. Your friends and fam will love you for it. And anytime they're around you'd be totally comfortable with yourself because 1. Your liked for being you and 2.They'll see you they way you are with everyone, no matter who you're with. You'd be blessed. And you'd have nothing but love coming from every angle. Best of all it'll be real love. Cause it's loved aim at the real you. Not the love of a character you're playing that's not truly you or even close.

Yeah, that's why you're so pissed off. Because it works, right?
I'm fascinated by how real you aren't.

Lets make sure to say that this isn't necessarily a black/white thing.
I have to act when I go to a job interview. I'm a white guy. All white people, including the interviewer, have to act in a job interview.
For exactly the reasons you said too. My friends and I act normally around eachother, the vulgarity and disrespect we show eachother (even if jokingly) will not play out well in an interview. We don't speak barrio, but we speak with slang references that would be inappropriate.
clearly there are racist individuals for whom you would experience problems I wouldn't have to face, but lets be honest, most "white" people don't fit the description of a college educated middle class white person, if that is even a good way to classify people (which I would argue it is not).
