Has anyone noticed recently on some forms your either hispanic or non-hispanic? Whats wrong with those statements???? Read it all before you yell at me, this does not apply to "everyone" who isn't white, but if it does apply to you...think about it!
You call me "Cracker", "Honkey", "Whitey", and you think it's OK.
But when I call you Kike, sand n*gger, rag head , towelhead, wop, camel Jockey, gook, n*gger, slant eyes or chink you call me a racist.
You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
You have:

[*]Black History Month.
[*]Cesar Chavez Day.
[*]Yom Hashoah
[*]Ma'uled Al-Nabi
[*]the NAACP.

If we had:

[*]WET (White Entertainment Television)
[*]White Pride Day
[*]White History Month
[*]an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives
[*]a college fund that only gave white students scholarships

..................we'd be called racists.
-In the Million Man March, people believed that they were marching for their race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights.....we would be called racists.
Some high school students decided to make a club for only the white students because the other ethnicities had them... they all got sent to court for being racist but the African-American, Latino, and Asian clubs were not even questioned.
You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when caucasians announce their white pride, they are called racists.
-I am white. I am proud. But you call me a racist. Why is it that only whites can be racists?
Now watch, I'll be a racist for posting this

It's not a little bit true, it's absolutely accurate.
I didn't say that. Whoever you quoted seemed to confuse affirmative action and racial pride groups, in a way suggesting that either whites be allowed to have their own affirmative action, other races not be allowed to have affirmative action programs, or whites be allowed to apply for minority affirmative action programs.
My point is that a case can be made for both affirmative action and racial pride, or at least that the two are not mutually exclusive.
Its not racist. I can't personally imagine why anyone would want to self identify along racial lines in this day and age, but racism is only when one treats members of different races differently.
My point is largely about the post you quoted, and their use of issues of affirmative action to show "discrimination" against white pride. I was saying that they aren't good examples, imho, since affirmative action is not about racism but equalizing oportunities between races.

depends on your motive and definition of pride. if its simply a vanity issue and you feel that white people are just more pretty, then fine. in fact, most people seem to feel that way about their own general skin color/ethnicity. "black is beautiful" is quite a common slogan as we know.
if its a matter of feeling that whites are superior, as in the glory of "white america", that is racist.
its a confusing issue since the majority of black americans have no traceable heritage as most/all white americans have. i know that im half italian, half english/german/dutch. i can trace my ancestry back to the colonial years in america and similarly in italy. most black people in america can only tell you that they are from africa. kind hard to know beyond that if your entire family history and even name was erased. therefor i think it actually is fair that they would be proud of their continent of origin since...what other choice do they have?
