Okay, good job, so what? Still there are stereotypes of black women....what's your problem?

If there is It ain't "mammy".

Stereotypes are false, therefore they can't and shouldn't be utilized.

Everyone every once in a while call him a nazi out of pure jest..I know he isn't one. (?) The cock thing is up in the air but one of Hilter's youth. Na.

Well, Creshy....he does have a point there.

On another note is the stereotype that negros have big dicks politically correct?

They exist because some aspects are visible in a reasonable amount of people the stereotype might apply to, they are offensive maybe, but also in a way funny and should not be taken seriously...by anyone.

"Who's more racist, black people or white people?"... "Black people, because we hate niggas too." - Chris Rock.

Most whites are usually racist.

Cheshcock needs to not even be in here.

He was cosigning a racist steroetype about Black women.

all i saw was the presumption (perhaps premature) that this character, (storm in a new incarnation, i assume) a black woman, calling everyone "child" is reminiscent of the old mammy stereotype. how does that make him a racist?

you're just manipulating his words to make us think he supports this image somehow, as if he wants to see some mammy goddess. sort your childish grudge elsewhere ffs, and please, if possible, give me the last 3 minutes of my life back.

Are you white??

lol

:edit: lol

:edit 2: *snort*

Alot of times I feel most whites don't like to be called "racist", not because racism is wrong, but because it "looks bad" and seems less "progressive".

That's how the "Mammy" steroype came about back in the day--white men would viciously rape Black women, so they made up Mammy to signify how "unattractive" Black women are to ease that sense of white guilt.

Whites also made up the Black man with the big dick myth.

They needed an excuse to lynch Black men and would often cut off their penises, therfore they made Black men oversexualized, when it was infact white men who viciously raped their Black slave women.

That was a racist thing to say.

No. Most 40 and up rednecks are racist. And you are a racist for saying that dickhead. Oh and actually I read an article that the black penis actually by average is larger, but the difference is so small it's barely noticable. Oh and FOTN, you are the worst kind of racist in that you won't admit it.

imho it as a well meaning yet completely destructive and insulting attempt to make white people less fearful of black people.

Oh but we haven't made it a better place.

FOTN: "Things are worse"
BlueDMighty: "There are african americans who think the civil rights movement and integration was a mistake."

Remember? It was better back when white people enslaved black people.

I'm not entirely sure HOW... but these two nitwits seem to think that.

I'm not going to explain this in full context because it takes far too long.
FOTN, I don't know what his point is and I never saw him explain it so I won't touch that.

I am on of the people Blue is talking about though. The civil rights movement was headed in the right direction in the 50's when the message was "equality." It was not until the 60's that the message became "integration" which is a different message entirely. The message changed because of a lot of crap but the head man that is praised, Dr. Marin Luther King Jr., was a masonic preacher that helped change the theme to integration.

Integration did not say that all people were to be accepted. It was a "please let us in" cry rather than "accept us as equals" thing. HBCUs (Historical Black College/Universities) were doing well until integration because no one wanted to go to those schools anymore. Black businesses lose all sorts of money because now blacks can shop anywhere. Black neighborhoods are no longer where people want to be because now they can stay with white people. The list continues...

*On a side note, Native Americans were doing a lot of stuff around the same time that never gets mentioned. They really get it bad...

The civil rights movement was steered from it's initial and much more promising theme. That's how things started to go awry.

I could continue beyond the 60s if this is still not making sense...

And then there's the stereotype f the oversxualized black woman to justify rape.

It's really a self image thing for alot of whites, not wrong or right but justification.
