Oh and FOTN, you are the worst kind of racist in that you won't admit it.

w/e man. Don't insult me, newbie.

For the millionth time i'm not a racist. My beef's not with Whites but with racists. It's just that it seems like Whites are my target because i've only experienced racism from them and the things i say reference them. But i like Whites. Especially the girl.

See, we can all get along. I just want unity, basically.

*sniff sniff

It's Dinnertime! I smell lobster sauce and crab rangoon. Peace!

FOTN, I don't know what his point is and I never saw him explain it so I won't touch that.

I am on of the people Blue is talking about though. The civil rights movement was headed in the right direction in the 50's when the message was "equality." It was not until the 60's that the message became "integration" which is a different message entirely. The message changed because of a lot of crap but the head man that is praised, Dr. Marin Luther King Jr., was a masonic preacher that helped change the theme to integration.

Integration did not say that all people were to be accepted. It was a "please let us in" cry rather than "accept us as equals" thing. HBCUs (Historical Black College/Universities) were doing well until integration because no one wanted to go to those schools anymore. Black businesses lose all sorts of money because now blacks can shop anywhere. Black neighborhoods are no longer where people want to be because now they can stay with white people. The list continues...

*On a side note, Native Americans were doing a lot of stuff around the same time that never gets mentioned. They really get it bad...

The civil rights movement was steered from it's initial and much more promising theme. That's how things started to go awry.

I could continue beyond the 60s if this is still not making sense...

Oh gee, what travisties... sounds more like a capitalism problem than a racial issue.

"Black neighborhoods are no longer where people want to be because now they can stay with white people."

Gee how blasphemous to be able to be with the white devil like that...

Do you have anything that is truly detrimental on that list or is it more mildly racist sounding things?

Integration did nothing and was a farce.

Even King knew it.

Right around the time he organized "The poor People's campaigne" he was killed.

Then don't use "white" and "racist" interchangably.

2Damn no one likes you I barely know you but us nonracist people don't like to hang with bigots.

And then there's the stereotype f the oversxualized black woman to justify rape.

not really. its an image against women in general. wow you really want to twist every injustice of the human condition to be exclusively against blacks by whites. how asinine and laughable.

It's really a self image thing for alot of whites, not wrong or right but justification.

you really should try researching and learning half as much as you make up theories on social/political conspiracies. they do and have existed for as long as man could speak, but you're just a fountain of disinformation which only serves to fuel baseless paranoia, prejudice, and hate.

Mind explaining yourself rather than trying to just sound witty?

It's a funny paradigm, really.

We live in a country/ world where your "race"/phenotype defines your nationality, eithnic orgin and culture-- "White race", Black America, white culture, Black Culture.--All completely inseperable.

This is why someone can Sterotype a Black women of African origin with white invented, stereotype meant for American Black women.

This is also why Whites stuggle hard to escape that collective guilt of being racist and Blacks try to escape negative sterotypes invented by whites.

It is because in this society, your skin defines you and groups you in not your language, culture, or nationality.

You can never escape it.

Oh there's that "white guilt" again.

So I guess you really are 2damnracist.

It's funny that it's the only thing you've picked up on.

You justify a racist stereotype that doesn't fit a particular character who's not from the American South during slavery.

No Black woman I know speaks that way or exemplifies that.

So it becomes, if she's black, then "Mammy" fits.

It's the same way I've seen someone call McDuffie "MC-Duffie"(no doubt a hi-hop reference0.

If You're racist, then you're racist.

Don't try to ease the guilt you feel.

You still haven't answered me about the "Barbarians" thing.

Okay that was probably uncalled for. But the things you mentioned don't sound like bad things to me. The "Black businesses" thing is simply capitalism. They failed not because they were black and the others were white, they failed because the consumers decided to go elsewhere. and I doubt that all businesses nowaday are owned by white people anyway.

The black colleges thing was also a matter of choice of the people. You even said that no one wanted to go. Why do you suppose that is?

And being allowed to live with white people, doesn't sound so bad, it also allowed white people to live with black people. Some White guys found black chicks and are happy with them and some black guys found white chicks and are happy with them. If it makes people happy why was it wrong?

More personal freedoms are bad? The freedom to choose where you wanted to go to school, where you wanted to shop and who you wanted to date, where you wanted to live?

Maybe its because I'm from Utah and grew up with friends of all skin colors that has warped me to the point where I can't see these things as bad. But this sort of freedom seems like a good thing, and its hard to imagine anyone wanting to take these things away from people.

Personally I wish we could all just get over ourselves, our hurt egos, our bruised prides and just learn to accept one another. saying that all people are one way or another just seems retarded to me. maybe desiring true peace and harmony among mankind is a backwards way of thinking ... but if freedom and hapiness are wrong, I don't want to be right.

Awsome.

Ahem . . . you're racist.

Wait, if a fictional character happens to speak like the mammy stereotype...why should one not be able to say that? I mean, hypothetically?

Whites are racist?

No.

As you exemplify by going to the nth degree to make something that is racist not racist, you try to escape the feeling of being branded a "racist".

It's about feeling a sense of "guilt".

No it's about a sense or righteous indingnation.

If I were to label you a "****** Mudbaby" you would of course deny that you fit with the stereotypes that are implied. Of course thats just black guilt.

If a person justifies the "Mammy" sterotype being used where it doesn't fit, why is not okay to call them racist??

Do you know what racism is?

By saying that Whites are racist. you have made a racist statement.

You have grouped together the white race and given them a negative label.

Because for the life of me I can't figure out why I think that discrimination and hatred based on skin color is bad.
