Whites are racist?
I did not say that. Why are you trying to draw my attention to it? I have not said a word about whites being racist. Different people are racist - what race that are is irrelevant.

Okay that was probably uncalled for. But the things you mentioned don't sound like bad things to me. The "Black businesses" thing is simply capitalism. They failed not because they were black and the others were white, they failed because the consumers decided to go elsewhere. and I doubt that all businesses nowaday are owned by white people anyway. The black colleges thing was also a matter of choice of the people. You even said that no one wanted to go. Why do you suppose that is?
And being allowed to live with white people, doesn't sound so bad, it also allowed white people to live with black people. Some White guys found black chicks and are happy with them and some black guys found white chicks and are happy with them. If it makes people happy why was it wrong?
You missed my point entirely it seems.
"Integration" and "equality" are radically different themes.
Equality is accepting another person as an equal.
Integration is just letting them in.
The mindset of black people is the main concern and why things turned out as they did in the next few decades.
HBCUs were, at the very least on par at the time, with state universities. Integration skews this fact in the mindset of black people (Now I am not out to say white people spread the word that HBCUs were inferior. I am saying that black people did it amongst themselves) because they were unable to even touch a white man's fountain, step into a white man's diner, and so on. Everything white people had was better, why not the schools?
Same contrast for businesses.
Same with neighborhoods, hence the lack of community among the black populus these days (it took a while to get as bad as it has gotten but yea). Now we can live with white people who's ground we could not even walk on before! It was the farce that black people told one another and the mentality that continues today.
I'm not calling out white people. I have not one time said "white people did to this all blacks!" Review the previous posts if you feel like it. YOU HAVE SAID THOSE THINGS AND MADE THOSE ASSUMPTIONS. It is far more complex than just race and simple economics.
As I wrote a while ago: The past explains the present, the present foreshadows the future.
