I take everything into consideration before I make my decisions. As a matter of personal standard I do my best to not make uninformed decisions, be that by making a statement based on personal bias rather than evidence, or overlooking a detail that could be important simply to state my opinion. It's the Tax Lawyer in me. It's prevalent in my debating style as well.
Besides, after my loss to B-Dub I vowed to never let anyone else fall victim to a judge not paying attention to details.

That's commendable of you....especially since the system burned you ( 😛 ). I probably fall short of that ideal in my judging occasionally, though I do try to be thorough, but it's a good way to approach any facet of tourneys.
