...speaking of inept teamwork, we really need to get cracking on that writeup.
Also, just for my personal curiosity, how many teams will be PM'ing each other their posts before posting them? The thought never even crossed my mind until I realized that many teams do it. The only other partner tourney I was in, we'd tweak the writeup together then just do our own thing for most of the battles.

I mean, we'd discuss strategies and such during the battles, and even occasionally exchange useful scans. It wasn't like we didn't communicate. But for the most part it was "post whenever you're on, and I trust you not to suck."
We're doing the post-sharing this time around though, so I guess I get to try something new. Seems like it'll keep the pace of matches down, if nothing else, which is good.
Seems time for a team update.
And I could've sworn Symmetric Chaos was in this tourney. I was excited to face him.
No such luck. 🙁

To be more precise, we're taking the version of K' from NeoSun comics\manga, though it's not different from ingame one in terms of powerset (some things are shown more versalite, that's just it, and he's portrayed as inferior to Yagami/Kusanagi). That was stipulated on the first page of the confirmation thread.
But since there's no difference between powersets, that post is purely towards Trickster to avoid "comics\manga aren't canon to games" argument. Comics are canon to comics (though KOF 2002, vol.2 (#30-54) quite contradicts ingame storyline, thus those feats can be judged as non-canon and won't be used in that tourney due to that storyline falling under "non-canon crossover" definition , especially the ending of that volume, which is a KOF version of Spiderman vs Firelord basically, though the incarnation of Rugal was beaten only by using plot device aka short circuiting his cybernetic systems which were powering him up).
As for Kenshiro, we're drafting him BEFORE he mastered Muso Tensai (so nothing like offensive TP from him, as well as no PC-KK style feats).

I was under the impression that we'd always been drafting him for the entire series.

👆 I appreciate your honesty. Yes, K' beating Rugal would be SMvsFL and I would have argued that to the death. Rugal soloed the KOF 95' Roster, there's no way a schmuck like K' could beat him in a straight fight. No offense. 😛
And good call on dropping the Muso Tensai. That thing put him into mid or high meta.
