I made that comment mostly for you as you're the biggest expert on K' and Ken out of all the opponents we're going to face. And K' and Maxima beated Rugal there only via plot device (short circuiting the machine which was powering Rugal up and that action nearly killed Maxima as he had to short circuit hsi own systems to do that). K' had no chances to win against Rugal in the real one-to-one fight....the best he can hope for is last a bit longer than a minute.
As for Muso Tensai, taking him before that is no neutering and at the same time removes the whole problem of things which caused Iron Fist to be banned.

I did the same trick to get Jotaro in. So don't worry about it. As long as he can't get the move on his own during the match, then it's cool.

Oh and a question about semifinals. you said that the battles would be best of 3. Do we use the same prep area or different ones each battle in the semifinals?

In the semifinals the prep areas "reset", so you'll have all 6 of your prep areas available and able to use any one of them once per battle.
