Yeah but I doubt they could screw up a friday the 13th remake since the original was rather boring anyway....Jason should be in the remake, he should be the killer rather than his 60 something mother going around hacking up kids... the thing is Jasons mother was weak but Jason, he was strong and took steroids. No wonder Jason is angry his penis shrunk due to the steroids!!
haha his mother sucked balls, killer? she could barely hold a knife properly, it sucked.
The remake will take another approach than the original, it wont be his mum even though I do think she will be in it. Perhaps She teaches Jason as a young dude to kill people and teach him that everyone is scum except her.

Not another Bloody, crappy remake of a horror classic.
classic in no way implies that it is good.
how on earth could a remake of Friday the 13th not be better than the original? unless it's 90 minutes of German guys shitting on each other while jerking each other off.......it has to be better by default.
What's with people not liking the first one? The Halloween remake really irritated me but I think this one might be good.
The thing I don't like about it is that Friday the 13th wasn't really about Jason. If they are going to focus around that they should make it more of a segway between part 1 and 2 rather than a full on remake of part 1.
It's not that I don't like the first one.....I own it aswell as the rest of the series on dvd. I can appreciate it for what it is, a silly little popcorn flick with little to no plot. That doesn't, however, make it a good film. There is no plot at all. It's 90 minutes of random teenagers getting killed in random ways until the last 5 minutes when Mrs. Voorhies says she did all the killing because her son drown in the lake while the counselors were off f-cking. It's cheese. Any remake would have to be better.....better plot, better acting, better effects, etc.
