Well Dante has unlimited ammo, super-human trigger speed and capable of charging the bullets. (Like in DMC4 used to finish 2 bosses (not sure if that was charged but still shows some strength))
And i highly doubt MC will be able to dodge many, if any, of the shots. So it ultimately comes down to his armor and energy sheild (correct if wrong) Dante has been stabbed multiple times, most he just brushed off, and also 'got shot in the head' and still shook it off like it was nothing. The damage-sponge wont be beaten by normal guns.
Ends up with Dante dodging most of MC shots while wearing down his armor with his rounds :/

Your joking, right? Normal guns over time can kill MC, Dante's guns > normal guns. Dante is not the one to run, nor can a single bullet (or any) kill/ badly harm him.
I take it your the Halo fanboy type that will post without reason to make him top-dog, not going to ask how a bullet could cause a seizure and rabies... please show proof.

Think its more 'nearly impervious to small arms fire'. And besides, all guns apart from DMC2 are demon enhanced and above those normal weaponry. Id say that comparing Halo's high technology educed guns to DMC's demon powered guns, it would be slightly in DMC's favour (55/100) because they are linked to the user, eg charging and special abilities.

no, bullets actually bounce off of spartan's armor, they let what I'm guessing was .50 cal machine gun rounds bounce off their armor & that was just the first mark IV version.
I still want proof of dante's demon infused bullets other than that time him & Trish fired some super shot together.

Against Arkham, Mundus and Dispair were 'Jackpot' attacks. Echidna and Berial were also finished off by one shot, whether they were charged or not it still show power. And all the charged shots from gameplay.
He doesn't only have E&I, nor are they the only chargeable ones.
Everyone seems to be overestimating MC shield. it is actually kind of horrible. the only impressive feat i've seen out of MC is when he fell and hit the planet in the third one. As far as Dante not being a crack shot, i mean, really. has no one on here ever watched Dante, with his handguns, take out about ten guys in two seconds? also, as far as the differances go in weaponry, Dante has pandora, which can turn into anything he wants it to. also the devastation attack on that thing(Dante does this to the giant frog demons) would destroy MC. Plus nothing even phases Dante. MC would probably land the first few shots, piss Dante off, then MC would die by the means stated above. if Dante was also given his various swords, and not hampered from the beginning, this wouldn't even be an issue. Dante has beaten Mundus. Very few video game characters could stand against him, and MC is not one of them.
