It is further damaged by the fact that we hear a Leaguer say "one more broke through." The League was up there as the first line of defense against all the Probes that were sent to Earth. The didn't fight just one, or even just the two we saw them fighting. They fought every Probe we later saw on Earth.

True, there was Diana and Arthur fighting one Probe by themselves, and J'onn, Plastic Man, Flash, and Kyle were fighting another one.
However, it's complete speculation to say how many they did fight, how many they let through, how many they beat, etc.
All that was shown on panel was one Probe taking down MM, Kyle, Wally, and PM. Arthur and Diana's defeat of a probe almost ended with her death.
This doesn't take away from the validity of my point. A probe took down a large portion of the League, whereas Superman and Doomsday both went through tons of them like tissue paper.

Makes you wonder why sun amped Superman didn't do far better against Diana or DS. But a regular superman does better against forces that supposedly are superior to both. I could see why so many people hate superman. Including myself.

A "sun amped" Superman knocked Diana all the way back to Earth with a single punch. In the ensuing battle, Superman wasn't amped more than usual. And it could be strongly argued that the kryptonite she was holding with her took away any advantage he might of had at that point.

You said nothing of outside influences or context.
In that fight, Darkseid held Superman like a baby kitten. He was the CLEAR physical superior, even if he was only the CLEAR physical superior over a tired Superman.
