well I'll be damned. people actually get away with member-bashing and breaking rules and aren't banned by Mods?

well, I'll do my best to be a positive influence on the board and expose the negative scum that stain KMC. 😄

For example: A lion vs. a tiger.

Say a lion's strength on a scale was set to 100. Now, a tiger, with it's larger size and denser muscle mass would probably be around 105-110.

However, both felines have sufficient strength to severely hurt one another in a single paw swipe. What's the only variable? A lion is born and bred to fight. If the said lion won in a fight, that doesn't mean it's stronger than the tiger.

Lions are lazy asses that let to the lionesses do all the work ermm

I've seen a Tiger kill a Lion. 🙂

You haven't 'seen' it. You've read about it when battlehammer brought it up during a thread.

The instance in question was between two animals born in captivity (a zoo). Neither had to hunt in order to get their food, or fight at all.

Therefore, argument of said logic is not valid.

I used to argue for tigers all the time against lions. Bottom line is that lions have their mane as a defense against the tigers suffocation tactic. Lions win more often than they lose against tigers. Sure lions are lazier but the first th=year or two lions spend their time fighting. They are more used to it and arent as apprehensive about it like tigers are. Lions win hands down more often than they lose against bengal tigers.

*headache went away*

Actually sweettits... I saw a video on Metacafe or whatever it's called, and a tiger kicked the hell out of the lion.
Even if you look on Youtube, there's videos where tigers beat the hell out of Lions all the time.
Hell, a female tiger was beating a male lion on there...

Yeah a tiger can still beat a lion but on average the lion is superior. Its the way it is.

Not according to online videos...
You'll maybe see one lion beat a little tiger, out of 10 videos...

And the animal faceoff series is a crock of shit... interesting, but a crock of shit none-the-less. 🙂

Interesting to note... I just saw a Jag kill an anaconda, and then the same one killed a croc.

Let me go search for the link. Hope its still on there. And you couldnt be more wrong. Lion wins more often than not than a tiger. Let me do some research and hopefully I can find the link.

Umm... in that link, they tear apart everything the first guy says...

What are you looking at? Is there more to it?

Those four reasons are solid reasons. Sure a tiger can still win but the poin is the lion has the advantage. Experience, the mane, etc. all give it the edge, But tigers still kill lions. Its just lions kill more tigers.
