Will ENGLAND make the EURO 2008?

I think the main problem isn´t the players, they have more technical ability, ball control and oversight than any England "kick and run" team before, mainly due to progress, different strategy & yes foreign players in the Premiere league, they had to adapt.

But its how England play, there is no rhythm or understanding between the players, the strategy is pathetic. When they go a goal up the players stop playing, this was the case under Sven and now as well.

Maybe its the transition between the kick and run which is a natural England mentality way, to the european way.

But when you compare the game flow with top teams like Brazil or Argentina or even Germany who have no great stars but players who work together as a hand, not loose fingers then England are second rate.

Thing is, look how Sven is playing now, and how he did prior to the England job. It literally has to be something about this lot of players.

Yeah, and it might not have been. The outcome was, like it is every time, England being knocked out. What's the excuse now if they don't qualify? Rooney being injured? Give it a rest. It was Rooney's fault anyway

Theres an old football saying, "you make your own luck".

If you got through then you deserve to simple as that, ok England v Croatia is more likely to be draw unless England try and prove a point especially at home.

The big question is will Mclaren stay if England qualify, I certainly hope not.

That's a bs saying, because it's not always applicable.

England have simply not played well enough to deserve to. They would be out if it were not for other teams.

And other teams would be "in" if it wasn´t for England. Italy could aslo be described as Lucky, if Scotland didn´t loose to Georgia then they would be through not Italy.

We're discussing England, though.

I'm not saying it's not applicable to anyone else, I'm just saying that this will all be forgotten if England do well, cos England fans are mostly idiots.

I could say that most Brazilian fans are boob swinging half naked women, but that would also be inaccurate.
