You know what I realized will be fun? The win-loss record for each team as the weeks progress. We'll have standings and such, the whole deal.
My only questions would be this: How do we break ties in determining semi-final seedings (if there's a tie, that is). Whoever won the head-to-head between the two teams in question seems logical enough. It's remotely possible that a 3-way tie could happen (though unlikely). Maybe total judge votes from all matches could then be tallied, and whoever had more would break the tie...so it adds a little incentive to win decisively rather than just by 1 vote.

That is exactly what I'll be doing. I said so in a previous post but it's lost somewhere in the 2000+ posts of this thread.
Basically we'll be utilizing a point system as well as the victory itself. If you won a battle by unanimous decision your record would reflect 1-0 (3-0). If you won by a 2-1 margin your record will reflect 1-0 (2-1), etc, with the best possible record being 6-0 (18-0). That will play a factor in strategies as well. By the last few weeks of the First Round you'll know whether you're within 2-5 points of the top 4 seeds and you're going to want to finish very strong and try to garner a unanimous victory to close the distance and move up in the ranks, so the strategies should get really interesting. I'll be tracking all stats and standings.

In Round 1, due to the unequal team constraints, you will also not be able to add a member of your beaten opponents roster to your own, that will have to wait until the following semifinal Round, which will be a best of 3 (each semifinalist team must defeat their opponent twice). Each match will have 3 judges, and each judge vote is worth a point. The number of points accumulated in Round 1 will determine seeding in Round 2. Any ties will be resolved via a match between the tied teams.
In Round 2, the 1st Seed will face the 4th Seed and the 2nd Seed will face the 3rd seed.
Let the confirmation begin.
From my first post (when we originally only had 5 teams). In the new format seeding will be based on the head to head match-up as well as point total in the event of a tie.

Not that much really. Only major thing is Gideon still needs to be banned.
To take away the fact that he's an external and thus can heal from any wound save complete molecular disruption which is impossible due to no organic matter manip, or life force draining which is banned due to being a OHKO?
