And the whole thing about Nightcrawler+Deathstroke is still scary, but possible amalgams (NC+DS, Venom+Guts etc) doesn't count unless it's the way to legally cheat against some rules like in case of Sage who DID possessed offensinve TP on panel.

Gambit wasn't able to charge LIVING objects (he's charget the undead quite a few times) after a surgery performed on him by Mr.Sinister. There's no strict definition of what is hypnosis and what's not so be lucky your Venom wasn't kicked off and still ready for having his ass kicked🙂
