There are no limits on non-standart equipment tech, as long as it's not matter manipulation\time manipulation stuff. Desaad is actually a loophole there since he can get pretty much high level tech in 10 minutes.

Wait, midnighter is part of the authority. What kinds of gadgets does the engineer just have lying around? can't he just grab some of that stuff?

Those gadgets are Angie's, not his. There's a rule not to "borrow" tech from your teammates.

Desaad can turn into Darkseid.

I think that alone is enough of a reason to ban him.

No it has to be established that your character actually has access to that kind of tech all of the time. And you have to show that someone can actually operate and understand the tech. Hence why I wanted smart people on my team.

And there's an interesting thing about that rule- the tech of Desaad (at least the most high level one) technically belongs to Darkseid. Though he remembers how to make it, of course.
And he perfectly imitated Darkseid more than once.

Now all you have to so is prove that Desaad can turn into Darkseid in less than ten minutes. Also, As i said before, i'm advising no one ***** about desaad. Becuz My next guy will anger everyone and there wont' be a word that can be said about him. Alone is NOTHING. On my team, He is EVERYTHING. So leave desaad and alone and whom ever faces desaad's wrath should just be happy that I won't be using desaad's lab but once.

OK, so Desaad doesn't have access to most uber of his toys and it falls under "no Iron Man suit for random Avenger and no nanoarmour (for exampe) for Swift".

Desaad's standard base is Apokolips Labs. Of course he invents all of the tech so I guess anywhere he wants. I know that he can teleport himself and others but I've never seen him teleport weapony to him. I think you are over thinking desaad. He's too weak. He just recently got blasted and pwned by DS for trying to betray DS.

Two times (1st round and semis or final) so "one trick pony" teams (providing they'll qualify to the semis) would most probably lost to more versality ones.

Or let me put it this way.

In his appearances does he normally appear with his tech or without his tech more often. Seeing how the bulk of his appearances take place where he is using tech I would guess not.
