The Void upgrade wasn't that large. You're still talking about a power set that would feed Spider-Man his armor.

The void upgrade was very big.

That Superpatriot guy was destroying him, then with the Void upgrade hes high herald and takes down Majesti. Yeah it was a pretty big ugrade.

The point is that power copying in any capacity is potentially FAR beyond low meta. And the person can acheive that power level without amalgamating, so it's just the individual character and thus beyond the individual character limits. Context is irrelevant, especially since he has mutants on his team already.

Anyways, Delph says that for the purpose of the tourney, Darwin is choose-able.

The fact is, offensively, he hasn't shown the definite ability to take Spider-Man out.

Where as Darwin HAS been hurt in the past by lasers, punches, etc.

He's susceptible to BFR, and nearly anybody who has the element of surprise, or super speed could take him out.

I don't even know why he's low herald in the tiering, but that's not good evidence for why he shouldn't be eligible. 🙂

Only in a tourney would you see an argument for Darwin to low meta.

I'm too disgusted right now with how much crap people try to get away with to speak well. My team will return in kind if we have to, but it's frustrating to play by the rules and actually stay at the limits, then watch as our planning becomes irrelevant and people start pushing it toward an Iron Man tourney (which Darwin would also be banned from, btw).

So I'm out for now.

It has been getting pretty bad. The main characters I really have an issue with is darwin. Any more people object to him?
