Where to begin...:
Firstly, I would like to reiterate the fact that this is a low meta tournament. Characters need to be in that tier class to be viable combatants.
Secondly, yes, it seems to be human nature to attempt to stretch the rules. I purposely left some room in the rules to allow creative freedom for all of you. Some of you chose to cleverly take advantage of the freedoms, some of you did not. However, disputing every draft choice simply because it poses a tactical advantage you did not postulate is not grounds for banning. As I've stated previously, you have to substantiate your disapproval with evidence that the disputed character is either beyond the low meta cap or breaks one or all of the rules and should not be allowed, not simply because the team you drafted is inferior. There is a burden of proof, and the vote is only half of the requirement.
Thirdly, a majority of us involved are either adults, or at the least in our late teens. I would appreciate it if you would conduct yourselves as such. I adopted this peer based veto system because, quite frankly, I'm not omniscient, and I don't know everything or have access to all literature pertaining to every character in every medium, and I will likely miss things. This format was instituted so that we could all keep eachother honest, not so that everyone could try to "swindle" eachother.
Fourthly, draft choices are to be submitted to either myself or my lieutenants, Soljer and Jason4k, for approval and posting. The only exception to this rule is the drafting of a character as a replacement for a vetoed character/forfeitured dispute character. However, those choices must still be submitted to us and approved prior to a team member posting their replacement.
Now, I apologize for my absence, I had an unforseen family situation that has occupied my time, however, even with that taken into consideration, I shouldn't have to be present for you all to carry on rationally. You all know the rules, and you all know that this is a low meta tournament.
Now, would all of you with grievances please PM them to me and I'll address them personally and directly.
