Err, ever heard of Shadowcat? The Ghost? Ghost Girl? Phantom Girl?
Don't think there is anyone who would classify those characters as a midtier.
And Grey Fox, may I kindly remind you that you have MIRROR MASTER among your ranks?

Ah, so we can't have characters who can't be taken out by different tactics, as long as they are under the caps? One is the limit?
Funny, I didn't see such rule.
Originally posted by DarkCrawlerOn its own, it wouldn't. But, with everything else that Shinobi has going for him, it stacks.
And again, that makes him bannable how?I don't see a rule that would say "Your character MUST be vunerable to BFRing". Do you?
Seriously, how is having a character who is prepared against multiple ways of attacking AGAINST the rules? 🤨
No... but I DO see a rule saying that participants must be Spider-Man level.

That is because he is a smart pick who happens to be under the caps too.
OMG!!! y didn't ah think of dat!

So walking right next to someone doesn't pose a danger?Yeah, he is intangible. So what? There are dozen ways of taking down an intangible person, we should not neuter our characters just because you didn't prepare for the possibility of encountering one.
Don't have a temper tantrum just because your pick is being challenged. Frankly, a character that can go intangible, as well as diamond hard and can mess with inner organs easily without any self detriment shouldn't be available at this level.
And, actually, I did consider the various people who can go intangible but are Spider-Man level. Shinobi isn't one of them.
Originally posted by DarkCrawlerI'm just going by your words. But, if one were to ask me, I'd say a low-level speedster who is still vulnerable to physical damage is less of a threat than a person who can go intangible and then have a diamond hard fist in your chest.
And no, it's not an OHKO. It can be easily avoided. It's no different then Quicksilver coming at superspeed at you and driving a sword through your organs.Hey, what if there was a team that didn't prep against potential superpeed attack? Should Quicksilver be banned?
And, this objection is not because I didn't prepare. I legitimately consider him over the caps.

And, to everybody else, I STILL say Venom is easily above the level that we're duking it out at. I don't see how people can object to Savage Dragon, but not Venom. 😬

Anything Dragon has done >>>>> Venom.
And don't bother arguing. I just found a scan of something that makes him out of this tournamaent. May as well give up.

Venom's just as strong and durable, if not more so. He has tendrils that can mess with your insides, can be invisible and has barely any of the weaknesses he used to.
Nope about strength. Nope about durability probably.
And I don't know what Venom is doing on this tournament anyway. 😂

I'm hearing a lot of stuff about nearly impenetrable forcefields, access to timetravel tech etc.
Forcefields can be disrupted , Daleks were being wounded in S2 finale and killed in S3 episodes. The shield is far from indestructible.
Time-travel tech pretty much drains a Dalek completely and only allows a one-way jump. Pretty much uselss.
