There not very scary at all, the second Silent hill was good, I really liked that one, it was not scary but it was good, and it introduced the great Pyramid heads.

Hahahaha, I remember playing Silent Hill 2 with my gay friend Jeremy, and when you first encounter one of the creatures, and you have to bash it with a block of wood, he was screaming, "Kill it!!!". Hahaha, it was sooo funny.

I just remember asking myself, "The fuc......?" when a lot of the enemies were introduced. Especially during that part when the first or second pyramid head you see is humping some dead body in the kitchen.....

Did you ever finish the game?

the ending was a real shock?

Sadly, I didn't even get past the apartment building, I believe 🙁

I only got to play it once. I'll have to buy it, for I don't own it. What SH games do you recommend for buying?

The first Silent hill, and the 2, the third one is an add-on to 1 like a purpose sequel just to that one, but it's not that good, the 4th one features the Apartment featuring the guy who killed himself in SH2, with the soup spoon, that is a good one, I recommend the first 2, and if you like them then get the 4th one.

The 5th one comes out soon as well.

Interesting! Definitely a game to play with the lights turned off?

Indeed the 1st one is the scariest, but the Second one adds depth, fear and psychological torture in as well, the second one does play mind games with you, and I do mean it messes with your perception and the way your mindset thinking, as Well as Crazy Eddie, and one of the Most shocking endings of all time.

I just thought it was crazy shit, I have never been more scared in my life, I was 9 years old and I think i slept with the light on till I was 12.

We were all in our sleeping bags along the floor in a row, and of course I was nearest the door, so keep looking around the chair to see if anything was there after watching the film, ha ha.

What film

The only movies to scare me as a kid was the original TCSM and the original Halloween. Both seemed fairly realistic and not too far-fetched.

TCSM?

I understand Halloween, to be fair you never saw any violence at all, which means it leads you imagination to decide, which is more terrifying, it also mixed the camera angles with the disturbing foregrounds, they should have left it at 2.

TCSM= Texas Chain Saw Massacre

Yeah that is why Halloween scared me. It wasn't your average blood-bath, fake-looking gore horror movie.

And he was believable, I mean he could have been wearing a bulletproof jacket, we all know he was not but still, he was super human but not to ludicrous, i always say they should have stopped after 2,
Halloween 1, 2
FT13 1, 2, 3, then after these they became ludicrous.
Child's play 1, 2 they are funny.

resident evil was a game i never played but enjoyed watching other people play, i wasnt scared i dont think but i couldnt wait to see what happened next and it did give ya a good jump.

Cheers for sharing dudes.

When I was younger the ending of the original Halloween scared the hell out of me.

yeah, that was a great movie to watch as a kid. I remember my balls dropped when the guys chest opened up to a a seemingly bottomless mouth of teeth. It bit off the DR's arms. i was like WTF ❌

Actually, i think the first silent hill game distrubed me more than any horror movie.

Halloween 5 was the first horror film I saw. I was probably 7 or so, and I saw in the TV Guide that it was on HBO at like 4 am. So I secretly woke up early to watch it because I had never seen a horror movie.

Yeah, even at the time, I thought it sucked.

thats a great story. I bet you felt like james bond eh. Learning how to decipher the TV guide and using some Covert Op techniques in sneaking out with not waking up the enemy.

I remember sneaking out to watch patrick swayze's Red Dawn. I had just seen Road house, so swayze was like a god to me then. I saw a preview for Red Dawn, a new patrick swayze movie i hadnt seen. That movie ****ed me up though. I didnt sleep properly for days. I kept fearing that russkies were going to parachute down onto our roof and porch.

I remember the first times the sirens rang and the world transformed into a chain linked vision of hell. Like, the game wasnt already disturbing enough. The school portion of the game will always stay with me. STOP THE FVCKING PIANO PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh of course, and the weird camera angles, and the little midgets with knifes, that would just not die!!!!
