Your first scare

I don't remember precisely that which movie got me interested in the horror genre.

But following movies are among the earliest horror movies I have watched and they have indeed inspired my interest in the horror genre:

1) JAWS II
2) Evil Dead 2

JAWS II was probably the first one that I watched among these two.

Jaws 1 was far better, scarier and well greater then II.

The first Jaws scared me when I was a kid. I lived in Nebraska, and I was scared of sharks. shock

What movie was it that first introduced you into the world of horror and made you realize you had a sick twisted mind?

this is gonna sound stupid, but The Ring is what got me started on horror films. 😕

I have to admit, that first one was quite scary when I first saw it. My dad and I laughed so hard when we saw the chick in the closet, not because it was funny, but because it was quite shocking, heh.....heh....😐

Silent hill game is madness, true horror, as for Jaws never had a problem with the film, however the same can not be said for the things outside the film.

I remember seeing the ring (remake) at my friends for a sleep over...I was up all night cause my sleeping bag was by the fire place and after watching that film it wasn't where I wanted to be

who else liked the way Halloween (original) was directed?

Hahahaha, I had this girl that I used to be friends with spend the night at my house, and we watched The Ring together. Shortly after, she fell asleep, and I was still awake, watching another movie. All of a sudden, she woke up, sat up, and yelled, "DON'T TAKE ME! I DON'T WANT TO GO!" and I was totally shocked, so I grabbed her, shook her a bit, and said, "Hey! Wake up! You're fine, nothings wrong!" And then she closed her eyes, and went right back to sleep.

So weird.

Dawn of the Dead, something so sinister there, so much so I had to own Dead Rising.
