Need some help. I dont remember what it is called but I can describe it. O.o ... well duh... ANYWAY

Its an old black and white film. Bandits are trying to steal from this little village and they get samurai to help defend the village but they cant acutally pay them. btw its a japanese film

Scarlet, this is my all time fave samurai movies...

its called The Seven Samurai

Need the title

OK this might be a tough one. I need the name of what was possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. The entire premise of the movie was a man being stuck in a box for the whole film.

All I can remember is this guy trapped in a box on an airport tarmac, with rebel soldiers patrolling it and other cargo. The man in the box kept looking out through a peephole and at one stage a soldier almost notices him. This was the only memorable scene, as well as when a scorpion creeps inside the box with him.

It seemed to be a U.S. telemovie from the 90's, and I keep thinking it is called Stowaway or something similiar, but can't find any information on it anywhere. Does anyone know?

Cheers

Okay, this one was shown on Nickelodeon as a Thanksgiving special. It was animated. It was about a mom and her kids that were really poor and they couldn't afford much food for Thanksgiving. All I remember other than that are two things: they only had a big can of beans left to eat, and they kept referring to it as a "mother sized" (or something similar) can of beans; also, the point of the whole story is that the kitchen came alive or something and they ended up with a bunch of food for Thanksgiving.

1940s Search for abandoned baby movie

As WWI aproaches a young concert pianist in Italy falls for a major opera singer who is also a war hero. Brief romance; he is killed; she is pregnant. She has opportunity to flee the country but leaves the baby behind at convent orphanage. After war she seeks baby, but records are lost, etc. She searches for years, finally finding boy adopted by American family and, surprise, wanting to be opera singer; adoptive parents object. Our pianist is by now a major star in the classical music game. She become mentor to her son, not revealing their relationship. My favorite line "Why are all the good roles for tenors when my son is a baritone?" A theme in the concert scenes is the use of Rachinanoff's 5th. This came out in late 40s maybe very early 50s. I've been searching for this movie for a long time.

What's this French movie?

This has been driving me crazy for years. Watched it in the late 70s early 80s. Beautiful girl infiltrates a family by marrying one of the sons, and destroys them by having affairs with brother etc to avenge the rape of her mother by the head of the family. At the end she finds out that she has identified the wrong man. She ends up in a mental hospital. Any ideas what this movie is called?

Does anyone know this one movie...

I watched it when I was a kid, surprisingly, it must've been pg13 or something, but it was of these teenagers, and these two girls would always tan by the pool.
And there was guy, one of the girls neighbors and he was really into her, etc, etc.
The only thing I can really remember is that at the ending, they end up being together, and have sex, and then the song ode to joy plays.
This was like, 6-7 years ago, and I just remembered this movie about 2 weeks ago and it's been killing me to know what the movie is, but ive tried tons of different searches and can't find anything related.
I am pretty sure the guy was brunette, one of the chicks was a blonde, can't really remember much.
Anywho, if anyone knows this movie, or it sounds familiar, the title would be great. =]

Cheers

Please help identifying a movie

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can remember a movie from decades ago, that was kind of a sci-fi, techincal thriller. The movie involved a corporation that did research into optics and nerve responses in humans. Basically, the company had developed a device that operated sort of like a camera flash, but it induced a temporary stunning effect on the subject, so that they blacked out for a period of time. I think the movie name was the name of the device, which was an acronym for what the device was. I can only remember partial terms from the acronym, something like kinetic optical response, etc. Can't remember any of the actors. Thanks for any help whatsoever.

What movie is..

What movie has that scene towards then end of the film where this guy steals a 100 ton dump truck and starts driving up this guys driveway running over really expensive vehicles like ferrari, porche, mercedes etc.. right up to the guys mansion and jumps onto his balcony.....

I believe at the beginning of the movie the same dump truck is used to bury someone alive

what's the movie i'm describing???

I saw the trailer of a movie once, and I really wanted to see it; too bad I can't remember the movie title. Help me out? I'll decribe the trailer.

There is a brunette man and a blond woman with a short haircut, they're married. They are in a city park with their dog, I think I recall that it is a german shepard. They are playing fetch, and the tennis ball that the man throws goes into a tunnel kinda far away. They wait for the dog to come back, but soon hear the dog whine, then bark, but is quickly silenced. The man goes in after the dog, but never comes out. There was two african american men who took the dog and killed the man. Meanwhile, the woman is devastated from the loss of her husband and her beloved pet. Though, she's hardened now, and carries a pistol in fear of another encounter like that again.

Coincidentally, the two men encounter her again, in a dimly lit subway station. They are all alone, and the taller one takes out a curved, serrated nine inch blade and places it right above her left ear, slowly moving it but not yet making a move to chop it off. XP He mutters under his breath,"...like taking candy from a baby...." Suddenly, the woman takes out the gun, shoves the cold metal tip of the pistol hard against his stomach, (I think she mutters,"not again", but i'm not sure) and shoots him. The other man gets away, though.

Later, she confronts the other man on purpose. It's in the pitch black of night, and he talks to her behind a tall, wrought iron fence, holding her dog on a leash, torturing her to see the sight of her dog in someone else's hands. She shoots him, and takes back her dog. The trailer ends.

So, any ideas on what the movie is called????

What's this move please?

Hi There,

This probably is going to be a tough one, but knowing the gurus around here, maybe I'm underestimating things a bit...

I caught this movie back when I was in school and from the looks of things, it surely must have been a movie madein the 70's or 80's...

I remember the story very vaguely, but the hero of the movie is some sort of a retired (or former) special ops/police etc. and is married and get's (one last?) job hijacking money form an air plane?

Unfortunately, that's about as far as I remember :-(

Would really appreciate if someone has a clue regarding what move it might be.

Thanks!

The Life of David Gale.

What movie is this?

I have been thinking about the name of this movie and thought my husband has seen it but he can't remember even the plot.

I think it's a fairly recent one, maybe a few years old. I didn't see it but heard it was good.

I think it is about a guy (or could be a girl) who takes a road trip across the United States and picks a song for each place visited or tells a story about the place that is visited and gives it to the girl by the time he gets to where he's going. Maybe he takes pictures, but for some reason, I'm thinking they are songs or he tells something about it.

I don't know the main actor. Sorry. That's all I remember.

Anyone know what movie this is?
