driving me f'n nuts.

about ten years ago, there was a tv movie that i think was probably on the disney channel. it was about some kids looking for a lost world or a lost island or something. all i remember is that they went through some type of portal at one point, and at the end of the movie they ended up on a beach in this new world. does anyone have ANY idea what i'm talking about? i remember really liking it when i was younger and it's just driving me absolutely insane.

whats that old cartoon

There is a cartoon I saw a few times as a kid and it's totally retro seems 70's-ish. There is a little kid/man that is short and I think he has a round head and he lives with peole who have pointed heads. He has to make a trip somewhere to get a cone head, or earn his "cone" shaped head? or maybe the other way around? and wears a cone shaped hat and everyone else has cone heads? does anyone know what i'm talking about? the art of this guy was seems like the people who made the cartoon were high at the time haha. The art in it was simple, and dull colors. I have no clue where to start!!!! HELP!

whats that old cartoon, it was just one movie, a little boy/guy had a round head but lived in a city of poited head people. the art was poor and had dull colors. I thing there were talking dancing trees he had to travel to somewhere and eventually in the end his head goes pointy. because he had knowledge or something? he also wore a poited hat to hide his round head? seems like the writers were high when they made the movie. i saw it in the 80's and i'm sure it was plenty old. it would air randomly on tv.

need help finding 70's movie kids kill adults

First let me say hello, Im new here.

Ive been looking myself for a film from my childhood that I cannot remember the title of.
Any help would be much appreciated.

THe movie was about teens fighting authority (adults) where the end result is that they either(cant remember for sure, was a kid) kill or incarcerate everyone above a certain age. I think the age was 21 or something like that.

WHat I remember most about it is the ending, where the Leader being 18(i think) is being looked at by even younger children as if he now is too old.

Im not sure thats enough info, but if you pick my brain a little maybe we can figure this out.

Oh yeah, I think it was a 70's could have been 60's but it was in color.

Let me add that the setting is the United States and I think it was a "current" time setting ie. the 70s.

It was not futuristic.

Welcome to KMC. 😄

Sounds a lot like 'Children of the Corn', to me. ✅

Yeah I know, but the setting is urban or should I say the suburbs.

Wish I could figure out the name of it.

Im gonna have to defer to others here... sorry mate. Hope you find it.

Children of the Corn came out in 1984. Nothing is coming to my head about killing before a certain age apart from Logan's Run, but it's obviously not that.

Yeah children of the corn sounds strikingly similar.

Here's one for ya!

I'm searching for the title of a movie I saw 25 or so years ago. It could have been filmed in the 70s. It reminded me of Blue Lagoon. It's about a boy and girl who are lost or stranded. I'm not sure if it's an island or just a remote area. Just like Blue Lagoon, the have a baby. I believe that there was a sequel where they are found/rescued. I think it was French or Canadian but filmed in English. AND I thought the title was Best Friends or something like that. BUT with all my searching - I've found nothing!
Any help? Please?

The title is Blue Lagoon.

Hey, I saw this movie like 3 years ago in school, though it looked to be made around the 90s. It was about a group of boys at a boarding school, and I guess the headmaster or whatever puts them on lock down and no one is allowed to leave or make contact with the outside world, so the boys start trying to hatch plans to make it out.
Can anyone please help me figure out which movie it is? Sorry, but I don't remember any quotes. 🙁 Thanks in advanced though! 🙂

Ok, nvm. I found it. 😄 The movie was called "Toy Solders" Thanks anyways. 🙂

please help if you recognise this film.

I watched a film about 6 years ago and really want to know what it is called, I have been searching ever since.
It was about a teenaged who worked in her dads florsit. She delivers some flowers to a funeral parlour, while there she asks how they prepare the bodies.
She gets a job working in the funelal parlor and ends up interfearing with the bodies. She starts kissing them and eventually has sexual intercouse with the bodies.
There is one scene where she drives a hurst thrugh a car wash where she gets in to the back and has sex with the dead body.
This film sounds sick but was actually quite good.
If anyone has any ideas please help.

Many thanks,
Amy

The movie you are referring to is called Kissed (1997). Hope this helps 😛

Yet another mystery movie...

But first, re: the movie that sounds a lot like "Children of the Corn" - it's been a long time since I've seen it, but I vaguely remember another killer children movie called "Who Can Kill A Child?" - took place on an island, as I remember, though. Probably not it, but worth a shot.

So, mystery movie: like most here, this one goes back a looooong time... probably close to twenty years since I saw it, and even then I only caught the second half of it. Never knew the name to begin with.

It might have been a road movie or something. I remember a couple - husband and wife, maybe - travelling, driving, and they keep being hit by disasters, yet remain curiously unaffected by them. Some scenes I can recall:

An emptied out city (NYC maybe?) - the male lead has an encounter with a disheveled businessman of some sort, who's freaking out. There might have been a run-in with a cop, too.

The couple driving through a swarm of some sort - bees? Locusts?

A flood, but their house - or someone's house - remained on a little island to itself, unharmed. They would get to and from the main city via rowboat. This was towards the end of the film, if I remember right.

The leads finding themselves in a junk / antique shop in the middle of nowhere, and finding something in the shop that one of them had lost earlier in the film (earlier than I tuned in) - the item had something to do with baseball (a card or a glove, or maybe a baseball itself) and was swept away in some kind of storm, I think.

Anyway - swarm, floods - it had some kind of maybe biblical imagery, and a post-apocalyptic, yet laconic feel. I'm guessing late 70s to mid 80s. Hopefully a lightbulb goes off over someone's head.

Nope, not Blue Lagoon. I've seen that several times before. It reminded me very much of it though. I guess it's lost forever...

Hey, I watched a movie a few years ago and I've been trying to remember what it was called and it's been driving me crazy for a few days.
My memory is a little fuzzy but I'm pretty sure the movie had this scientist guy who was obsessed with a spider-themed super hero, and ends up injecting himself with some type of spider venom substance and turns into a spider/human hybrid. I remember the ending had something to do with the only way to defeat the spiderthing was to rip his heart out.
If anyone knows what movie I am talking about and could tell me the title it would be a lot of help.

Sounds like Earth vs the Spider 2001 version.
