If you hadn't seen it already, and this ISN'T a repeat viewing, then you swallow more shit than anybody, considering you agreed to it being a great movie based on what people have said.

To answer your question (Made simple at your request): Because you essentially sum up one of the most complex characters in comics with "GRRR! HULK SMASH PUNY TANKS!", in comparison to Batman which you refer to as complex, implying you do not believe Hulk is.

Oh yea, Ironman. A cool watch. Funny at times. I liked Robert Downey Jr.’s (R.D.J.) performance, although I always knew comic book Tony Starks as much more conservative than R.D.J. version of him. Not anxious or waiting to watch the movie again though. Imo, it was your typical but cool Marvel movie. I would’ve liked to have seen Mandarin as the antagonist, maybe he’ll pop up, as war machine said, “next time”. At least the movie wasn’t as sh*tty as the game, eh?

A) Like you have never made personal assumptions about me. Long or short, time duration is irrelevant, because whether you'd read them for five years or 20, you obviously don't truly know a thing about them if you sum up the context of the character in such a simple way.

B) Long enough to know that you post things implying that Hulk comics are all about "GRRR! HULK SMASH PUNY TANKS!" as you put it. That is clearly what you implied, because you said you consider Batman to be complex, and to use that as a comparison would mean you don't consider Hulk comics complex, which they are, have been and can be. You'd know this if you had read them for any length of time.

Furthermore, your reasoning is flawed. If I was dull enough to JUST want Hulk smashing things all the time as you implied, then I wouldn't read Hulk comics anyway, for as long as I have, being that a majority of the time it isn't just mindless smashing and fighting.

It wasn't a debate regarding your opinion of the movie, just your opinion of the plot. Couldn't care less whether you like it or not, that's up to you. Your reasons for liking it and then disliking it, and your description of the plot was what we were discussing.

Tony STARK is more or less exactly like Robert Downey Jr, and if anything, Downey Jr was more conservative.
