Easily dispatched!
"Leave him!" a voice suddenly shouts, clear over the noise of the raid.
The two remaining pirates back off.
A man wearing a black flight suit jumps down from the transport ahead of you, strolling through the ranks. His face is obscured by a black hood and a cloth covered everything below the eyes. In his hand he holds a pistol that resembles an old flintlock.
"He's mine."
"How pitiful."
He discards his hood and cape, tossing them to one of his henchmen. His face is masked by large tinted goggles and the cloth covering his nose and mouth.

As a reminder, the number in the parentheses next to your Force pool is your Combat pool.
He approaches you, adopting a defensive posture, when you lash out. The man catches your powerful blow with his arm, taking away its momentum. Still, you hit hard, Xavier, and he takes 7 damage.

The Pirate Leader is going to respond with a Hard Strike of his own.
The Pirate Leader waits for his opportune moment, then launches his fist like a hovertrain into your chest. The force of the blow is enough to knock you bodily backwards. You take 10 damage.
No man should be able to hit that hard.
You close the gap again with your Flying Kick, launching yourself into the air with your foot outstretched. But the Pirate Leader, a highly athletic man, manages to slip to the side at the last moment.

The Pirate Leader, maneuvering quickly behind you, tries to Headbutt you in the spine.
You sense something... odd... about this man. But you don't have time to dwell on it.
His attempt goes poorly as you spin about and crack him across the jaw with your Surprise Attack. 4 damage to him.

Frustrated, the Pirate Leader responds with a Nerve Attack, his fist becoming a blur as he punches towards your leg.
No, but you can.
The Pirate Leader's attack looks like it will miss... but suddenly changes course and collides with your shoulder. 8 damage as pain shoots through your arm.

You stagger back, your arm stinging as the nerves protest...
But it's your move.
Exactly. In fact, as the rapid punch of his Strike hits you square in the chest for 5 damage, you sense an overwhelming wave of hatred emanate from him. He has let down his guard and you can sense it clearly: he is using the Dark Side.

His use of the Force to enhance the speed of his blow means that he is going to get another attack on you.
Xavier realizes he has proven his point. He is physically superior to a normal person. He will be kept for slave labor. If he presses his luck though and beats this man. His cover will be blown and he will have let Master Cabas down.
With that Xavier allows the next blown to squarely connect against his frame. Whether or not it would have put Xavier down, he will fall to his back. Making sure not to get back up.
The Pirate Leader lands his Combination, smashing into your chest with powerful blows that knock you to the ground whether you meant to or not, sustaining 16 damage as cracks your rib.
But he's not satisfied and lands a particularly vicious Nerve Strike in your solar plexus, forcing the breath out from your lungs and dealing another 13 damage from a single blow, taking you to 54 damage.
You cannot see his expression, but you sense hate, and lots of it.
He steps on your neck, keeping you pinned to the ground.
"Bind him!" the Pirate Leader orders. A pirate comes forth with cuffs, pulling you up so that he can slap them on you. He does so, and you are now at their mercy and a captive. "Take him to the ship..."
The thug pulls you up and forces you towards the ship, jabbing you in the back with his stun baton for an unpleasant shock if you don't walk fast enough. The Pirate Leader trails behind.
