"You have quite the work cut out for you then. You should know me well enough to know that I neither hurt easy nor do I fear death."

"When I am done, you will," Friste says. "This pain will go beyond what you've been dealt. Men of great skill rarely face great pain, Xavier. I will make sure that you do."

"And please make note Friste that if you succeed that will be the day you die."

"Is there anything else you would have of me, Friste?"

"We shall see. But not yet. No sense in having a rival who cannot match you in power. It would be overkill... and not the interesting kind. There is one more thing, of course..."

Friste gestures to the planet beyond the glass, hanging in space.

"This is Varlouc, the poisonous gas giant. It has a single moon, Varloucant, colonized long ago by explorers from Coruscant, shortly after the formation of the Republic. They have no military or navy, and they have cut off all connections to the Republic. They are alone, and they are defenseless.

"I'm putting a time clock on your secretive actions, Xavier. I bomb it tomorrow. No slaves taken, no survivors left. Think about that."

He gestures for you to leave, and the Geonosian returns to take you away.

Xavier walks away pondering on the matter. Friste is no fool he thinks to himself. He knows that this will cause Xavier to force hand sooner than expected.

No time to waste the plan is far enough along that Xavier can launch it, all he needs now is to get a hold of Master Cabas and let him know the situation, and any final details that must be taken care of.

Xavier stops at the entrance out of Friste's office. He keeps his back to the new Pirate Lord. He barely raises his voice and only enough for Tem to hear.

"No matter the outcome of this Frost, know that there is no way for you to beat me, I am better than you. Take what you will of it but know that it is true for I my heart beats not like yours or even Cabas. I do not care about false hopes and dreams. I only deal in truths, and that before this is done by my hands shall be your undoing."

With that Xavier leaves the chambers. While this does mean he must rush his plans a little, he has still gained valuable information from this. Friste Tem still does not know what he is doing and that he is only doing this cause it will force Xavier's hand.

Friste does not respond, returning to his place before the viewport with arms crossed over his chest. The iron defense of his mind remains intact, clouding your mind with darkness until you are escorted from the room.

You are very swiftly returned to the slave hold.

Shortly after the slaves are escorted up to the deck for their routine walk-about. Trax approaches you, accompanied by Hoondan and Prassk.

"What happened?" Trax asks.

Xavier sits on a rock meditating, his arms folded over his chest. He listens to all the sounds around him. He listens as his men approach.

"Tomorrow Frost plans on destroying an entire population on a moon. He knows this will force our hand, but while that does make us have to move with haste. The fact remains he would only do so if he was stumped on our plans. That means he is scared, but we do the plan tonight."

"Trax I need an audience with all the slaves, while the guards can not hear me. Is there such a place? If so get them all gathered there it is time to see who stands where."

Crate more likely than rock.

"Only the hold," Trax says. "The guards have been moved outside. I have no idea why. But we must wait until we return to the hold before we try anything. Remember that."

"What of your Master?" Hoondan asks.

As Xavier sits on the Crate 😛

"Thank you Trax," Xavier says and gives him a nod.

"I will talk to my Master, soon Hoondan. For now though enjoy the calm before the storm." With that Xavier closes his eyes and does as Luke did quietly uttering, "Cabas."

"Should we spread the word to those that know?" Prassk asks, interrupting your meditation.

"Let them know something is getting ready to happen, but not when, where, or how just yet. I don't want word going around to end up on some guard's ears."

They go about letting those in the know that "something is going to happen," leaving it vague as you specified. No guards seem suspicious of anything (other than their by now routine persistence in watching you) when they escort you back to the slave hold. All ten guards leave and seal you in with the blast doors.

There is a lot of chatter going about amongst the slaves.

Xavier stands as far from the blast door as he can making sure no gaurds can hear them. Over looking the crowded masses. His arm folded he tells Prassk, and Hoondan to let everyone know it is time for a meeting.

Word spreads quickly, but that seems to excite everyone more.

"Well, say something!" Prassk shouts. "Get their attention!"

Xavier stands up to his full height once again trying to convey great power.

"Everyone SILENCE,.... I have words I need to speak."

Xavier will then wait till everything stops chattering.

That seems to do the trick. A hush falls over the crowd! And you have their undivided attention, with your trio of helpers coming to stand by you.

Xavier scans over the crowd, silent for a few moments getting a sense of the atmosphere.

"My name is Xavier Kolarn. I've been sent here by the Jedi Counsel to infiltrate the Pirate organization. As you can tell I've been successful, also by now I'm sure most of you have caught word of what has been happening."

Xavier pauses for a moment, then continues.

"In case you haven't though I shall tel you now. I am planning on taking down the Pirates, but I need your help. Only together can this stop"

Xavier takes another break and will use Scan on the crowd to get their general emotions about what he just said before going on.

In the slaves you sense overwhelming Fear and Doubt... but also the tiny ember hidden within them, longing for fresh air to rekindle it... Hope.

"How?" someone asks. "How can we?"

"Because you have me to show you the way," Xavier tells them.

"Have I not already shown that I can take the worst they can dish out, and am I not still here. Alive walking among you. The Pirates power lies in overwhelming fear. My friends let us talk about the future."

Xavier halts for a moment.

"You were picked and taken cause the Pirates feel that you will make good slaves. For that your loved ones suffered." Xavier looks over at Hoondan.

"For some of you the suffering was your dignity." Xavier looks over at Prassk.

"These things suffered cause the Pirates wanted you. For what so that most of you will die in labor intensive mines and work as free labor. The lucky few of you will get to live past that as animals. Serving and bidding your Master's whims. You will survive but your life will no longer be your own. For these things you people have suffered."

Xavier turns and looks at Trax. He dwells on the slave longer than he should.

"If you remain here my friends you shall suffer more than any human being should. But you are strong or they wouldn't taken you."

He begins to dwell on the the civilization that will be destroyed tomorrow.

"I've talked to the Pirate named Frost. He informs me that tomorrow they will wipe out an entire population simply cause they can. An entire lively hood gone simply because evil men wish it. This portrays a fatal flaw though. They wish to show their power, people only do so when they are afraid, and who are they afraid of I ask. They are are AFRAID OF YOU. Cause you are strong, cause you have suffered. You outnumber them. You have nothing else to lose. You are dangerous people so much so that they will kill entire families to keep you from realizing that, but I see it."

"In each and everyone of you is the power to change your fate. You do not have to die as slaves. You can fight back, and for all their power make them suffer as they have caused you to suffer."

"Together we shall bring these scum to their knees. We were slaves but now we can be heroes. The planet we save.... this system, will sang the praise of the those who suffered most but showed their strength and their fire. If but you will follow me I shall lead you. We can win, we can be more than slaves this night."

He pauses to let his words sink in.

"So shall you follow me to freedom, to honor, to glory!"

Xavier will use scan once more to see how they are feeling.

There a moment of silence as the slaves take a moment to register what you have said. For a second you are worried that your words have had no effect and that your effort to rally them was a failure...

A fist is thrust into the air by one of the slaves.

"For freedom!" he shouts, enthusiastically.

"For freedom!" another cries, and before you can say Slave Rebellion, all the slaves are pumping their fists in the air and shouting their call for liberation.

"For freedom! For freedom! For freedom!"
