Xavier watches as the fists pump in the air. He has read many stories in the archive about these kind of moments. He believes the typical response in them was something akin to the Jedi, describing a feeling of euphoria and warmth.
Xavier didn't feel any of that. There was nothing in him. The basic biological responses but his mind was still distant. He had no feelings or caring for these people in him. They were simply a means to an end.
At that moment of clarity Xavier felt of cold feeling in his stomach, almost as if a hole was there. Something was missing in Xavier something vital he knew it, but he did not know what that was.
Xavier takes a deep breath not letting this foreboding stop him from the task at hand. He had to get in touch with his Master before they could kick this off.
Once everyone had settled down some.
"Now everyone relax and rest up. When I give the signal we shall finish this."
Xavier turns and walks to a closed corner away from everyone. He whispers under his breath concentrating on the image of his Master.
