red hulk vs superman

Of course it will because it's a load of bullshit.

So if a writer creates a completely new character it's feats are invalidated simply because the new character has the word "Hulk" in the name?

You need to chill and look at this slightly more objectively.

I only want Hulk to gain the respect he deserves - on these forums. The reason I started defending him in the first place was from reading these forums and the amount of hate heaped upon his character.

To be honest I didn't care for most of the Hulk stories up until the Planet Hulk saga. It opened up a more human side to his character. The Hulk is, as stated by several writers, a force of nature.

It seems that Loeb caught onto that same idea, and decided to expand it. That's why I am looking forward to it.

I like the Hulk but when you have him punching out a high level cosmic being, that kind of kills it for me. Back in the 90's and early 2000's the Hulk was ****ing awesome to me, and I don't appreciate the direction they are taking with his character.

My point exactly. Simply because "Red Hulk" has "Hulk" in his name people are already bashing him here. He might not even be the same guy for all we know at this point.

If people on these forums looked at WWH as a new character, and simply saw an invader come to Marvel Earth and do what WWH did, he would have gained a heck of a lot more respect than Hulk did, simply because he is Hulk.

😆

I can't wait to see the amount of b*tching in this forum when Red Hulk punches out a Watcher. The Hulk hate knob will turn to 11 on KMC.

It sounds that the force of nature part of the Hulk got loose somehow of Banner, so with no Banner personality to hold it back so people don't die and such... then there technically would be no limit to his power. Instead of normal where it gets to a certain point, then ramps down, this version of the Hulk sounds like it just simply keeps growing without stopping.

yes well the hate is pretty bizarre and funny... without it, we'd stop talking about the Hulk after 2/3 posts... just "hmm can the Hulk catch xxx, 'cos if he does, then xxx is dead", "ditto. neeeeext!".

I think the punching Watcher thing doesn't sound so good, nor does the idea of a Hulk without Banner.

both of these things sound like finality, as far as the character goes. after you smack down a Watcher, what more is there left to do? Galactus a few Celestials and then Eternity ... pretty much the end of the road for "The Strongest One The Is". rather see his powers develop laterally, explore their nature, maybe explore his ability to feed off the Dark Dimension's energies ... in some ways he is like Galactus, he can feed off of mystical and material energies (Dark Dimensions/shadow creatures and of course, Gamma).

also without Banner, there's not much in the way of character to have, just rage... sounds like a major regression as far as the quality of Hulk writing goes. Pak was the best thing to happen to the character in ages, imo.

Sorry, but I don't look at severe jobbing objectively. 😬

Thank you.

Red Hulk in a curbstomp.

Would be funny to see hulk punching out high cosmics.
On the other hand thats what happens with supes. He punches out whoever he damn pleases. No one is too high up the food chain to be punched out by supes.

Punching out a Water, supposedly. Watchers being slightly above skyfather.

If this is the character's established power level then it isn't jobbing. What you aren't taking into account is that this isn't Hulk, this is a completely new character.

Like you said, simply attaching Hulk's name to a character makes him weaker to most of KMC.

This happened when?

yes but, aside from The Flash and Batman, DC's just a Superman outfit.
Marvel's got stronger titles, imo ... which is probably why Hulk hasn't biffed the cosmics yet. he's had enough to go on with quarrels with Avengers, FF, Thor etc.

I don't see the need to punch out a Watcher to demonstrate that Hulk is indeed "The Strongest There Is", because there's plenty there in The Hulk's powers that should be investigated and expanded up...

what's the reason for his ability to grab energy? does it mean that he could grab Gladiator's H-V and yank him in? does it mean that he can throw energy?

what happens after Hulk goes 'supernova', like near the end of WWH #5? where does he go from there? does he grow in size/mass or does he explode that energy?

what's the real reason why they can't duplicate the situation that created The Hulk?
Is Bruce Banner some sort of a mutant after all?

Hasn't happened yet. Apparently RedHulk is going to do it srug

Hasn't happened yet, and Red Hulk hasn't been seen yet either. Yet being the key word here. Various sources have stated that it was in the plans for Red Hulk to punch out a Watcher during a battle. To knock out a cosmic level being such as a Walker (example being Galactus fought a very powerful Watcher for a thousand years) would be an extreme display of power.

Any proof that it will happen?

Bruce Banner is not a mutant.
