Gokou also specifically said 10 tons was to much to train with. If he could lift 50 tons he'd have no problem with just 10 tons over his body. Besides I said he could lift over 10 tons just I wouldn't put him that much over 10 tons at base. Besides 10 tons on your arm wouldn't be to heavy to lift if you could lift probably about 15 more tons at max with on arm though it would be hard to train like Gokou was doing sure but not to just lift. Gokou was ready for the weight also.

Kaioh also specifically said Goku is training at two tons each, then he told Goku to go heavier about ten tons. Meaning its ten tons each, that's 40 tons. Besides, they can easily lift any weight or mass within 24 hrs of training. Do you still remember about Gohan and the Zed sword?

It only took 24 hrs of training for Gohan to master and properly lift the Zed sword, that also goes for Goku who cant properly lift the Zed sword at first.

😕 I could have sworn I said it was ten tons each limb.

They could also already lift the sword so how does that really apply? Gokou couldn't lift what was on him at all without transforming.

Base-Goku is floating with 10 tons each limbs.

40 tons is his limit.

At first Gohan couldn't lift the the Zed sword at all without transforming, then it only took him hours to lift the Zed sword without transforming. And 24 hours to properly lift the Zed sword.

40 tons wouldn't be base Goku's limit. That's isometric lifting. Different from lifting over your head.

With isometric, it is 7-10 times harder to do than lifting.

In 40 tons, Goku wont be able to move and that's the only limit we can get from the canon manga. But still, Goku is floating with 10 tons each limb or 40 tons.

Which has nothing to do with lifting strength. 40 ton is not Goku's lifting limit. Just his lugging limit.

Its still in the field of lifting or part of lifting. Are you paying attention? Its the only canon feats of accurate physical strength we can get.

Are you paying attention? Goku's limit is NOT 40 tons. Just because forty tons is canonical numbers, does not mean he's canonically at that limit... unless you think certain physics don't apply to DB.

Its obvious when you watch a DBZ fight that they can lift alot more than, 40 tons ! that would make them as strong as spidermans enemys......which is weak ( no offense intended) Venom can lift an opt of 40tons, and goku when he fought piccolo is stronger than him, i think goku at the end of dragonball can lift around 1000 tons !! maybe more, he does flip piccolo when he is in iant form and piccolo is enar godzilla size, and godzilla weighs ALOT! Pre- Frieza saga Piccolo, lifted pyramids with his telecaniesis ( cant spell i know lol) pyramds weigh millions of tons !!

TK really doesn't gauge ones strength, and it was filler also.

Giant Piccolo wouldn't be anything more than 2 tons at best (that's really a generous number). Plus Goku flipped him while he was falling. Momentum was on his side in that feat.

As Kento said, pyramid was filler... and a massive contradiction even by the anime's standard. When's the last time we seen Piccolo TK somebody?

African elephants can weigh over 5 metric tons. Piccolo weighed much more than 5 metric tons as he was much bigger than an African elephant.

Piccolo was taller, but he lacked mass. Piccolo wouldn't be any heavier than Goku, and he weighs 60kgs. Scaling that, and Piccolo cannot be over 5 tons.

i wonder how much the Z sword weighed ??

Seriously, my guess would be in the thousands of tons if not tens of thousands of tons. The 40 tons thing with SSJ Goku was stupid and inaccurate to the anime and the manga. Toriyama should have written the show a lot better.

I agree, as a chid Goku should have deffinately been on the 100-200 tons bracket !! pre- Frieza saga definately the thousands, but if you think about it in terms on the Anime DBZ characters could lift millions on tons in the saiyan saga !! Piccolo lifted a pyramid with his mind, pyramids weighs around 5.559 million tons !!!

Anyone remeber the guy from otherworld, when king kai was showing goku around he was doign push ups with one finger " 4 million and 1 "
in higher gravity too !!

woops nevermind.

I dunno if this has been pointed out. But... Vegeta did train in 350-400 times gravity and we see him doing one finger push-ups... and then hand stand one finger push-ups.

I think it's safe to say that due to Vegeta's overly-muscular frame and dense musculature, that his weight would be somewhere between 150-160 ponds.

Training in 350x Earth's gravity would cause his body to weigh close to 56,000 pounds which rounds out roughly to 28 tons. That's one hand. Thus X2 hands would be 56 tons. Given the fact that he was doing them without strain, multiple reps, while having already been in the grav chamber for some time we can assert that this is nowhere CLOSE to his max.
